Good but could have been so much better
Pros:

Very clean and tidy room and Hotel. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

We could have been told that there was a wedding party booked for the night we were staying.
Our room was right over the function suite and we were treated to loud music from 9pm till late which we really did not want. We could have been offered a room at the other end of the Hotel. £120 a night was fine if you can actually get some sleep but not so if you are kept awake for hours with loud music.
If we would made aware of this when we booked or checked in then we would have made alternative arrangements.

Pleasant, but could of been better
Pros:

Good location, on site parking, clean and I was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and sea view

Cons:

I called the hotel two days before my arrival as I had one or two queries and add a bottle of Prosecco to the room for my wife’s birthday, but I never got a return call. Also on arrival at reception there was two employees at the desk. one lady was clearly busy working checking Someone else in, but the gentleman took a good five minutes before noticing me as he seemed to be busy on his phone texting trying to hide the fact he was doing so, but not doing a very good job. I also then asked about booking into the leisure facilities and use the swimming pool and Jacuzzi and was told it’s only the pool today that Jacuzzi is out of service. No apologies given or explanation as to why we had come for a chilled weekend and was looking forward to a little swim but more importantly and chill in the Jacuzzi. The Room it self was nice, clean and warm and quiet. breakfast was reasonable. I’ve had worse and then I’ve had better.

Pros:

The room was very clean, great section for tea/coffee with biscuits. Bathroom was clean, the liquid soap and shower gel was lovely. I got a room with a balcony and sea view, had some chairs outside which were nice. Very closed off and safe as i had my toddler with me. Me and my toddler really enjoyed the swimming pool (even though water was a little cold!), it was a very clean quiet area, just me and my son in the pool in the morning, and changing rooms had everything. Towels were supplied. Felt very safe in my room and the swimming area had a code so nice and closed off. Reception staff were so kind from the moment I got there to the moment I left, even playing peek-a-boo and making my son laugh😊 Room service was great and very quick. Breakfast had a big selection and was hot and fresh, the restaurant staff were lovely and even offered to help me dish up food as I had my son on my hip. Overall I had such a lovely time, thank you for having us and making us feel welcome!

Not amazing
Pros:

Breakfast as always, is lovely.

Cons:

The mattress needs replacing - terrible to sleep on. Pillows are awful too!
No water pressure, could not even wash my hair as there was not enough water coming out of the shower to do anything with.
No hot tub as advertised on the website.

Clean hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Well located
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. General level of decor was good although quite tired in places. Pool was good but a huge shame that the Spa Pool was closed.

Cons:

Attention to the area of the hotel that are worn out and broken would really help

Pros:

It's really near to the beach and I was lucky to have some sunny days. There is a pool a the hotel you can use and the breakfast spread was good, too.

Cons:

The hote is a bit old, but it didn't bother me.

Pros:

I stayed at the Riviera Hotel with my wife and 8 month old daughter. The staff were very nice and attentive for the duration of the stay, the location of the hotel is good , only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The room was clean, carpet was spotless which is important when you have an 8 month old crawling around. Having access to an on site swimming pool is also great, although the jacuzzi was out for maintenance during my stay.

Cons:

I think some aspects off the hotel could do with a small refresh as they are starting to show their age.
