Everyone was friendly, nice and quiet in a great location. Room was lovely and its great that they also take dogs in the hotel. Lots of parking which was also helpful.
Nothing!
Good breakfast, excellent location - 5 min walk to the beach, clean room. There is a spa area with a sauna and a pool.
no air conditioning, was too hot, had two fans but they didn`t help much
Great location. We arrived very late but was easy to check in. Had electric charging points for the car. Very dog friendly. Friendly staff
Unfortunately we visited towards the end of the heatwave and the rooms were exceptionally hot with only a small plug in fan available to use. We couldn’t even get cold water from the tap as it was running warm the whole time!
The decor was a little dated but the place was immaculate and the staff were really nice and helpful. Location for the beach was perfect!
Staff was amazing and attentive. All in reception and restaurant and bar. Those are very hard working people.
Lack of flexibility. We asked to check in couple or at least an h earlier as it was heatwave and we had under 1 year old. They did not agree. Cot provided was 12 pounds extra ( amazon travel cot with no matress or any padding in it so we could not use it).
Swimming pool was good. Food in the bar overpriced for what it was. Breakfast very basic but fair for the price. Hotel is old and worn. Not good old style old but everything in it cheap and used for far too long. Shower with aweful head barely any pressure. Rooms very small and cramped for the price they charge. Me and my husband plus baby paid nearly 340 pounds for 2 nights. Definitely not worth the price. Its giving old hostel vibe rather than hotel. Corridors were so hot it was hard to go through them, rooms had no airconditioning and cheap table fan only provided. Bed was the worst I ever slept in. Spongy far too soft and it seemed that if you move you will roll off it. No hairdryer, no fridge. Room was dirty, comb after previous gues laying between bed and nightstand, remote was sticky and phone absolutely covered with old grime'.
I have been staying in budget places inthe past but this one was not really comfortable nor good value for money. Also, that aweful test alarm exactly after 11 am (check out time) made my baby distresseed. Convinietly it goes off at the check out time probably to make guests uncomfirtable enough to vacate rooms faster. Not horrible but would not recommend. Checked out and got fantastic room for £70 pounds a night in beautiful old but worth the price place nearby.
Uncomfortable small bed and hot room!
Very homely hotel felt very comfortable and the swimming pool was so cute, allowing pets is wonderful. Liked the games area too.
Felt could have been more selection for breakfast in terms of maybe more fruit options, cheese and meats, muffins. But was a lovely breakfast overall.
The staff were fantastic. Particularlyvthe F&B manager and the front office manager. Exceptional service and went out of their way to help.
Nice quiet location close to beach. Friendly staff. Good food.
Nothing to dislike really. Was clean and comfortable. Felt overpriced as the hotel is a bit dated...but I guess everywhere in Bournemouth is very expensive.
Nice clean room and very close to the seafront not that we went to tankfest in Bovington for the Saturday so stayed Friday night to ensure an early arrival the staff especially Mike the receptionist worked to make sure we got a twin room for myself and my son when a group attending a cheerleaders event dropped out..
Forgot to give back their old style key 🔑 for the room so had to come back 40 minutes to drop it back. I spend alot of time in hotels due to my job and nearly all of them use replaceable key cards to avoid this type of issue. I'd suggest you replace your keys with a card entry system..
