Hotel typique au bord de mer, parking privé, grande chambre agréable, personnel accueillant, ascenseur.
Nous avions une chambre sous les toits et il y avait du vent causant des grincements importants dans les combles mais en fermant la fenetre on entendait plus rien (immeuble ancien)
we liked the entertainment . the breakfast was good with lots to choose from. the staff were helpful and friendly. the bedroom was good with a comfortable bed. over all the whole place was excellent and very good value for money
the whole holiday was very good there was nothing that we did not like
Lovely and clean as always, very friendly and helpful staff.
The location was just across the road from the sea front and a short walk into the town centre. the rooms were adequate and very clean. Plenty of places to eat and drink if you didn't want to eat or drink within the hotel. There is a small carpark attached to the hotel. The hotel seemed to be aimed at older people. 60+

The room and the site do feel a bit old peoples home in the setup and not and hotel for younger folks
We loved it & would 100% stay again! You definitely appreciate the building if youre from a certain era and you're nostalgic like us, yes there are a few minor flaws but the building is old so that's to be expected. It felt like going back in time but in a good way & we had a massive room on the corner with seaview complete with our own personal pet seagulls. This was brilliant value for money, we really couldnt fault it.

A Victorian hotel with plenty of character, free car park on site & right on the seafront.
A little wait for table at breakfast, but the food was delicious & worth the wait.
The room was really clean and smelt fresh, the view out of the window was amazing, looking over the sea. The staff were so polite and nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing apart from having to leave to come home.

First time in Eastbourne, we decided on this hotel because it was close to the pier & seafront, it was only a 1 night stay, but we actually loved the hotel! We were in the “younger age range” but all the guests we saw were great, the staff were friendly, live entertainment was brilliant and made us laugh

The hotel is a little dated and the double bed was a bit small. Understandably the hotel catered more for coach parties rather than couples.
The location to the beach was great
The room was dusty and extremely noisy as it was above the kitchen as well as very hot with no airflow. Had the window open but then got the kitchen extraction heat into the room.
