Favourite hotel for my London trips!
Pros:

Great location coz the train station is right around the corner. Beds are comfy. Can easily park your car and then travel to central London using the tube.

Perfectly acceptable for a short stay
Pros:

The Chap that booked us in and we saw at breakfast was very welcoming and clearly hardworking he made sure to explain all we needed to know and although couldn't accommodate an earlier breakfast he had it ready bang on 7am as promised, rooms were clean and modern, decent shower, USB ports for charging, ben comfy, clean towels etc. it can get noisy from outside which they acknowledge and provide ear plugs for, parking is free for residents which is bonus close to London

Cons:

the fire alarm went off 4 times during our stay once during Our evening meal, 11.30pm and twice the following morning at 6.30 clearly a system fault, it wouldn't stop us staying again

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return when we are next visiting family in the area.
Pros:

we had a clean and comfortable room. The food was good and reasonably priced. There was a nice ambience in the bar / restaurant area. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Matt and well served by his team.

Cons:

A lift would be helpful for the less mobile. Otherwise there were no negative points. We were told that it can be noisy at weekends but mid-week it was OK.

The accommodation was convenient to where I was going but as it’s a pub it’s quite noisy. Particularly on a Friday night

Have stayed here before - convenient for our purpose.

Cons:

Had a band on on the night we stayed - we didn't know this when we booked and had a very early start the next morning so wasn't the ideal stay. Had a long wait to check in - longer than on previous times - staff were serving customers 'out of order' so was a bit frustrating.

Häuschen mit englischem Charme
Pros:

Das Häuschen hat Charme. So stellt man sich ein englisches Pub mit Gästezimmern vor. Das Personal war super, man hat eine gute Anbindung zum Bus und zum Zug.

Cons:

Es ist wohl dem doch schon alten Haus geschuldet, aber die Fenster konnte man nur einen Spalt aufmachen. Dadurch das wir in der extremen Hitzewelle (juli) dort waren, war es Nachts viel zu heiß trotz Ventilator.
Soweit war es sauber, was uns aber aufgefallen ist während unserem Aufenthalt wurde das Bad nicht sauber gemacht, Handtücher ausgetauscht ja, aber kein Staubsaugen.
