the property is in a quiet location an the view from the garden area is good. staff was so attentive and arranged the needs as and when required.

It is close to the town.

Cons:

Front desk person (he is the same person who manage the hotel) isn’t customer friendly. He didn’t know about my booking when I arrive the hotel. He is confused. I spoke the native language but still he looks suspicious to me. However, the property was clean but I noticed some water leaking from the roof in a rainy day.

​"The Serandib Hill Hotel is a wonderful place to stay, conveniently situated in the heart of the city. The rooms are very clean, and the washrooms are excellent, with hot water that is perfect for the weather. I had a great stay. The property manager, Mr. Raja, was incredibly helpful; he organized my meals quickly and provided delicious Ceylon milk tea whenever I wanted. My thanks to Mr. Raja and the hotel!"

Pros:

Location is perfect! So close to the beach and shops. Prema, our host was so lovely she was like a mother away from home. She took care of us and checked in on us regularly as well as making a delicious brekkie that I won’t forget. The rooms are cozy and comfy but the best part about the stay was Prema. Thank you!

Cons:

We loved our time, but if you are looking solely for accommodation with no contact with the staff it may not be for you. The stay was perfect however if you’re looking to get looked after by a friendly Srilankan woman.
