Comfortable room, friendly service
Toilet seat would not stay up without holding. Surprised to be informed that breakfast was not included.

Friendly staff. Food was good.
Room was not very clean. Sofa bed for a family room meant there was no space. A really loud high pitch noise kept coming from the radiator.

The staff on the check in and in the restaurant were very friendly. The breakfast was good, with a great selection. The room had lovely views, the bed was comfortable and despite being close to a good road network, the location was very quiet.

Hotel a little tired, and had to ask for extra pillows in room but staff were very quick to get them for us.

It’s a great place to stay near to so many places like Beamish which is why we stayed. The staff are all really nice and helpful. The breakfast is also brilliant with plenty of choice. We also had other meals there and they were all superb too. Definitely good value for money.
