Location is great. Loved it. Close to the beach. Little noisy on street side early in the morning but I didn’t mind. Parking area is also big and great location. Safe.
Not much
Location
Old, loud bathroom fan, elevator not working. No A/C. Windows had to stay open with noise right outside our window until 1 am. Neon light shone in our room all night. Street cleaners at 5 am. No sleep!!!!
Able to change rooms, staff friendly, cafe for guests
Elevator wasn't working, one room only had 1 window for ventilation, no ACs
It was clean and located downtown.
Outdated. No extra outlets in walls. No AC and the window wouldn’t open more than 4”, it was hot. The door key wouldn’t work consistently. Only one large towel for two adults. The elevator was broken, that was fine, but after walking up three flights of stairs to not have the key work was frustrating.
Only thing I liked was the location and how close everything was.
The elevator did not work the whole time and we had to carry our bags up the stairs. The hotel also shares the resting outside area to a cafe next door so there was always tons of customers each morning
Friendly staff and the hotel has lots of character. It was built almost 100 years ago so be ready to accept characteristics of a 100 year old building.
If you get a room that is facing the street, it might be a little loud at night. There is a bar right below and people like to show off with their load cars at midnight.
The location is excellent.
Their is one bad apple in the basket. A young Hispanic girl working the day shift. She's Rude, lies & makes you wish you had booked somewhere else. Their is 2 Caucasian women, it appears one is a day manager and one works nights. They are very welcoming, and the evening lady is exceptional. She's the only reason we might book again. It's so sad that one lil Hispanic girl can ruin a vacation. We did notice her attitude temporarily change when the manager came in. But resumed her cold behavior the second the manager walked out. She truly has no business being in the hospitality field.
Close to the beach and surrounding areas, the front desk was a lil bossy, but as long as she didn’t ruin our stay., I was ok.
The closeness to the beach, restaurant , and shopping.lots of things to do. You won’t get bored g
