Pros:

Rustig gelegen, mooie tuin, groot privéstrand waar je praktisch alleen bent. Een mooi stukje paradijs waar we echt tot rust zijn gekomen. Ook erg lekker gegeten. Iets verder van het centrum, maar voor ons prima, wij houden van de rust. En met de tuktuk service die ze aanbieden sta je er zo!

Cons:

We hadden gevraagd om een dinertje aan het strand te organiseren ‘s avonds. Stond enkel een tafel en stoelen. Tafel niet gedekt, quasi geen verlichting. Dat was een beetje jammer. Ik heb liever dat als dat niet voorzien kan worden dit ook zo wordt aangegeven.

Pros:

Nos alojamos en una cabañita fantástica. Aire que funciona de maravilla. Hotel con acceso directo a la playa donde solo hay gente del hotel.
El personal del hotel es majisimo y encantador, muy serviciales y la comida está muy rica

Cons:

La única pega que pondría es que el wifi no llega bien a la habitación y que para volver de Uppuveli, no funciona la app de tuktuk, hay que negociarlo con los locales por estar alejado del centro

Beautiful resort and a quiet place
Pros:

The resort itself and the rooms are beautiful. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quit getaway (if you’re not, than it’s not the place for you since there is nothing within walking distance)

Cons:

We didn’t really like the fact that you had to let them know your lunch and dinner preferences quite early (around 11 am and 4 pm) because it doesn’t leave us with a lot of flexibility. Also the food prices were quite high and our dinner seemed to be warmed up in the microwave (fresh prepared earlier that evening probably), not what we expected for that price

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at 108 Palms. It’s clear how much love and hard work goes into maintaining this beautiful property, and every member of staff was warm and welcoming.
The gardens leading down to the beach were gorgeous, and the beach itself was clean, with soft sand and sparkling warm water plus the shaded loungers were a very welcome touch. The food at the restaurant was consistently good, and the buffet breakfasts offered great variety each day.
The hotel’s three resident dogs were great and I appreciated their company on sunrise walks along the beach. Our room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable, and there was nothing better than relaxing on the veranda watching the wildlife — birds, squirrels, monkeys, chameleons, dragonflies, all going about their day.
Staff were also great in driving to and from Uppaveli in their tuk tuk for a very reasonable price.
This place is a real haven. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Cons:

One small thing is the bathroom, it was difficult to have a shower without getting the sink and shelf area wet - but honestly this a very minor quibble and certainly wouldn’t stop us coming back.

Pros:

Friendly staff, great location on the beach, spacious and clean rooms, excellent pool, a great place to relax

Cons:

Housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, but they don’t refill the water bottles (we had this in every other hotel, in this price range you might expect this). Also no shower gel/shampoo.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Lovely place. It felt like a yoga retreat. Loved the way it is designed. The owners are very nice and the employees are fantastic. So helpful and nice. The rooms are big and clean and the bathroom is big as well.

Pros:

Almost everything. Staff is very helpful, Check-in in 1 minute. Extra pillows in 3 minutes. Beach is wonderful and empty.
The territory is beautiful and full of shadow. Beach towels are always available.

Superb property to relax and laze
Pros:

An amazing secluded location with as good as a private serene beach. The lovely staff takes real good care of the property and its landscaping. The whole bunch were really warm & helpful. Breakfast is superb and a well kept pool. Rooms are spacious. Three really loving dogs is a bonus!

Cons:

At that price point, basic shower toileteries and dental kits should be provided, escpecially since it’s a bit tucked away.
Our AC gave up overnight in peak summer, but was fixed right away in the morning.

Pros:

Super schöne, gepflegte und saubere Anlage. Man liegt etwas ausserhalb, was für unser Top war. Mit dem Scooter kommt man problemlos überall hin.
Der Strand ist leer und man hat seine Ruhe. Ein Ort zum entspannen und runterfahren. Das Personal ist super freundlich und engagiert.

Cons:

Die Preise im Restaurant sind eher teuer. Auch die Vermietung von zB Scooter lohnt sich ausserhalb zu machen und nicht bei der Unterkunft selbst.

A really lovely beach side stay
Pros:

Lovely staff & wonderful location right on a clean sandy beach. The rooms were very spacious & comfortable with soaring ceilings & interesting, calm photographs.
The breakfasts were really good except that we were never offered more coffee, although freely given when requested.
Beautifully well-kept gardens to enjoy & a sparklingly refreshing pool.

Cons:

The bathroom needs some protection from the shower - maybe a glass panel for preventing most of the room becoming drenched. It is a lovely room so a shame this was not incorporated into the design.
Also the property should be properly signposted with the number & name clearly placed at the gates as it is difficult to locate.
Although they were not advertised as available, we wish there had been some shampoo, conditioner & a box of tissues in the room which would make it feel more upmarket & welcoming. These were put in our room at every other place we stayed, even those at well less than half the price we paid at 108. It just feels a little like penny pinching which is a real pity as it is a lovely place & otherwise feels much quite high end.
Bird droppings were right at the steps into the pool the whole time we stayed - a pity as plenty of lovely people looking after the gardens every day.
