Great Location good food.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Nice clean beach front of the hotel .Staff were very friendly did everything they could to satisfy us. Dinner food was very good. I will definitely come back. We have extended our stay.

Cons:

May be to cut the grass with electric machine. It was so noisy.

Incredibly relaxing and comfortable. Quiet, peaceful and very easy.
Pros:

It was hard to leave 108 Palms! The staff were incredible, the food was delicious and nourishing, and our most difficult decision was whether to swim in the pool or the ocean.

Cons:

I loved the property. It was not pretentious like so many beach resorts are. It blends with the environment and local community.

Eigener Bungalow, tolle Anlage und Team.
Pros:

Spitzenklasse.
Direkt am Meer, mit Pool.
Riesen Zimmer.Absolut ruhig. Tolles Personal , wie ein Familienbetrieb. 15 Minuten in die Stadt.Ewig langer Strand direkt am Resort.

Cons:

Alles war top. Wenn's dunkel wird aufpassen beim Autofahren in/von der Stadt, der halbe Bauernhof ist auf der Straße unterwegs.

Schönes Resort mit kleinen Mängeln.
Pros:

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Toller Pool. Toller und gepflegter Garten.

Cons:

Unbedingt vorher die Bezahlung klären. Am Ende wurde ohne vorherige Ankündigung 10% auf alles (Zimmer, Essen, Trinken Wäsche) erhoben.
Sehr schmutziger Strand wir konnten leider nicht ins Meer.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast, clean, very spacious room. Friendly staff.

Small improvements could be made:
Place to hang towels in the bathroom, internet in the room, little bit more storage for cloths and luggages.
But overall, everything was very decent.

Pros:

Beach front location but was miles away from anything.
We like the quiet location except when the staff turned up the volume on regae music while cooking.
It was kept very very clean, an army of women cleaning everything.

Cons:

The music.
We booked a side sea view room but you couldnt really see the sea.
From our view all the rooms seem to be very similar but the prices vary hugely.
Didn't like payment to a Lithuanian bank account.
Towels poor.

Pros:

Personal sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Lage top. Direkter Zugang zum Strand und wunderschöner Garten mit Pool. Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Wenige Fahrminuten nach Trincomalee und Nilaveli.

Een paradijsje!
Pros:

Prachtig strandhotel! Echt een paradijsje, direct gelegen aan de zee- mét privé strand van het hotel. Wij hadden enorm geluk want we hebben het strand zelfs helemaal voor onszelf gehad.

Nimal is vriendelijk en heeft ons het gehele verblijf super goed geholpen! De service is top. En ook al het andere personeel is super vriendelijk , enthousiast en vrolijk.

Om het hotel heen zit weinig, maar met een tuktuk ben je binnen 15 minuten bij de restaurantjes, wij vonden dit heel goed te doen. Het hotel zelf serveert ook heel lekkere lunch, diner en sapjes/drankjes. Wij hadden dit nog niet eerder zo goed meegemaakt bij een hotel in Sri Lanka. Zoals al eerder aangegeven in de reviews is dit wel iets aan de duurdere kant.

Cons:

Having to pay 50% deposit into a Lithuanian bank account on booking felt very dodgy. However, we checked with booking.com customer service and they reassured us. Despite this, though, we still were very nervous about this hotel. Right up to the point we were going down to the dusty road to get to the entrance.

But then they opened the gates and wow, what a location! It is absolutely beautiful and rest assured, it's actually ok with the payment. We had to pay the balance into that same bank account when we left.

We stayed 4 nights total.

Prachtige locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel. Als je liefhebber bent van lokaal eten: dik in orde. Elke avond ter plaatse gegeten tegen correcte prijzen. Via het hotel een bezoek aan Pigeon Island georganiseerd: 100% in orde.

Hallo Zusammen,
Leider führten mehrere Vorkommnisse dazu, dass wir das Hotel negativ bewerten müssen. Wir reisten als Familie an und haben 2 Zimmer mit Frühstück vom 24.8. – 28.8.25 gebucht.
1. Ruhestörung:
In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel befindet sich ein Tempel. Dieser begann täglich ab 5 Uhr morgens mit lautstarker Musik, die bis ca. 9:00 Uhr am Morgen weiter ging. Am Nachmittag startete die Ruhestörung täglich ab 16:00 Uhr und dauerte bis teilweise kurz vor 23:00 Uhr an. Ab ca. 21:00 Uhr kam zusätzlich noch Feuerwerk hinzu, dass in unterschiedlichen Abständen gezündet wurde. Wir fragten das Hotel nach dem Hintergrund und warum solch eine Ruhestörung nicht bei der Buchung bekannt gegeben wurde. Das Hotel reagierte mit Ausreden und Unverständnis auf meine Beschwerden.
2. Frühstück: Da nur Kaffee und Schwarztee angeboten wurde, mussten wir noch teuer Wasser für die Kinder bestellen.
3. Zimmer: In der Dusche waren defekte Wasserhähne und das Badezimmer stand wegen fehlender Abtrennung der Dusche ständig unter Wasser.
4. Abreise / Weiterreise von Trincomalee nach Eluwankulama:
Die Reise über PickMe hätte im Minivan 28000LKR gekostet. Das Hotel bot uns einen Minivan für 35000LKR für 11:00 Uhr an. Ich nahm das Angebot des Hotels an. Der Minivan kam um ca. 11:30 Uhr.
Nach ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt hielt der Fahrer in einer Gegend ohne Internet an, nachdem sein Chef ihn angerufen hat. O-Ton des Fahrers: "Um uns weiter zum Hotel zu bringen, braucht er mehr Geld." Ich habe ihm 10.000LKR zusätzlich angeboten. Der Fahrer rief seinen Chef an und ließ sich die zusätzlichen 10000 LKR bestätigen. Nach ca. 30min Weiterfahrt stoppte der Fahrer erneut, nachdem er wieder angerufen wurde. Er wollte nochmals 5000LKR und gab mir sein Telefon. Am Apparat war das Hotel. Ich lies mich nach langer Diskussion auf 2500LKR ein. Da der Fahrer immer dort hielt, wo wir kein Internet hatten und von der nächsten Stadt entfernt waren, konnten wir keine Alternative suchen.

Séjour de 3 nuits en fin d’un circuit de 27 jours au Sri Lanka, parfait avant de reprendre l’avion .
Pros:

Hotel de petite taille les pieds dans l’eau
Plage très calme car peu d’hébergements à proximité
Personnel charmant, attentionné et très discret
Très bons plats tous cuisinés maison avec des produits frais

Cons:

Proposer du shampooing
Mettre un peu plus de transats sur la plage devant l’hôtel
Sinon tout était parfait
