Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was small but in good condition, the air conditioning worked great, and so did the fan. The grounds are nice, and the pool is quite pleasant, though there aren’t enough sun loungers.

Payment is cash only, so plan accordingly. WiFi only reaches the restaurant — there’s no WiFi in the rooms!

The hotel’s kitchen I’d rate 3 out of 5 stars. The ocean is genuinely close, about a 10-minute walk. There’s a tuk-tuk near the beach, so you don’t even have to walk if you don’t want to. Staff are friendly.

Hygiëne, geen koelkast, geen alcoholische drankjes of koude drankjes te krijgen. Geen mogelijkheid om met kaart te betalen alleen cash.

Nogal teleurstellend en zeker niet het geld waard.

Het personeel is vriendelijk en probeert goed te helpen. Het ontbijt en de lunch zijn goed.

Cons:

De eerste nacht vonden we een aantal kakkerlakken in onze badkamer en slaapkamer. We hebben dit aangegeven en het personeel heeft actie genomen. We waren met 2 kleine kinderen dus wilde niet slapen bij de kakkerlakken. We kregen dezelfde nacht nog een een nieuwe kamer echter was daar de airco lek en koelde vrijwel niet (30 graden in de kamer). Dit de volgende dag aangegeven. We wilden ons verdere verblijf (4 nachten) niet hier doorbrengen maar we konden geen andere geschikte accommodatie vinden. We kregen nogmaals een andere kamer toegewezen en besloten dit te accepteren. De derde kamer was een stuk schoner maar ook hier weer kakkerlakken en een hoop mieren in de kamer gezien en geen warm water in de douche (ja het is een tropisch land met ongedierte maar dit is de enige plaats waar we verbleven hebben waar we dit in deze hoeveelheden hebben gezien tijdens onze reis van 5 weken).

Het zwembad is niet schoon en de afvoer roosters zijn kapot waardoor dit gevaarlijk is voor iedereen die loopt bij het zwembad en vooral kinderen.

Locatie is goed maar er is in de omgeving niet heel erg veel te doen. Wij hadden spijt dat we niet in uppuveli gelogeerd hebben (kleine tip).

Pros:

Schoon en compact opgezet op prima beloopbare afstand tot het strand. Prima zwembad.

Cons:

Familiekamer was iets te krap. Een eigen bankje voor de kamer onder de veranda zou fijne aanvulling zijn.

La chambre est rudimentaire. Il n'y a que le strict nécessaire (lit avec juste un drap de dessous, une petite table de chevet pour 4.
Les robinets de la douche et du lavabo fuit.
