Pros:

Food was nice.

Cons:

Went at a bad time I think, heavy road works at the front and piling works to the property behind. Group of cyclists shouting and noisy our whole evening, dinner and Into the early hours. No carpets so stairs, hallways, rooms, doors closing all echo around the place. Slept badly due to noise.

Pros:

Buona posizione ….personale gentile…..colazione e cena ok

Cons:

Parcheggio……….troppa confusione fra chi soggiorna…e..avrebbe la priorità…e chi passa per aperitivo……tornando da un escursione rischi di non trovare posto

Not supportive
Cons:

We had organized a trip with friends and the second night, on 10 of September, we would stay at Cima Piazzi Hotel. We had a motorcycle accident on 9 of September and asked to cancel the reservation and to be refunded. Even though we provided the hotel with photos of the accident, photos of the injured person at the hospital and police report, they still charged us. Meanwhile, other hotels, including the hotel where we would stay at the day of the accident, after receiving the photos, were really understanding and supportive to us.
This review is just to let you know that humanity must be above a hotel reservation (1 night), because the life of our friend was at danger that day.

A pleasant and wholesome experience.
Pros:

The hotel is situated about 6 Km west of Bormio, with a lovely view to the valley, in a strategic spot to cycle up the majestic mountain passes in the area.
To the east you have the climbs to Stelvio and Gavia passes, to the west the climbs to Foscagno and Bernina passes, and you can start south down the valley to arrive at the famous Mortirolo ascent

The breakfast at the hotel was rich and varied, and it was available by request at very early hours, in case you're an early bird and plan to start your excursions with sun-up.

There's also a spacious lounge at the ground floor equipped with a bar and TV, and it was a pleasure seeping my afternoon coffee there and watching the Tour de France with some locals.

The hosts were very kind and accommodating, and helped me with errands I needed to run in the area.
