Malcom received me around 21:30 with a big smile and even suggested me few restaurants to have dinner.

The only thing is that it can be quite noisy at night due to the pub over the road, but no surprise given the great location.

Second time I have stayed here. A cheap and cheerful place to stay. The staff are extremely friendly.
Only problem I had is that my tv remote was broken and the tV volume was up that I was unable to change. The staff were unable to resolve the issue immediately but did try their best. TBH as I was out exploring Whitley Bay it was only a minor inconvenience.
Very friendly and helpful extra bonus there was a micro on each landing for any one to use.
Close proximity to town, clean room, bathroom and friendly staff, who even supplied us with a goody bag for the great north run.
