Idealic stay for walks and scenery.
Pros:

The setting was incredible. Exactly the 2 day break we were looking for. The 500 year old pub looked amazing and had that cozy feeling about it. The food for breakfast and dinner was amazing both nights. We went for a long 12k walk up to Castle Combe and back. It's a perfect location for walks. Would highly recommend staying.

Cons:

My only comment would be no Hawkstone on tap, being the local beer. But that's hardly a criticism. Thanks for having us.

Back again...
Pros:

Location, sitting alongside the river in the garden. The food was excellent, the room very comfortable.

Cons:

Food service was a bit lacklustre, with one waitress working extremely hard, carrying the others.

Great Stay at The White Hart
Pros:

Lovely old place in a fine location. The staff were excellent, making time to talk despite being so busy. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Nothing - eveything was great.

Toller Aufenthalt in rustikaler ehemaliger Wassermühle
Pros:

Eine alte ehemalige Wassermühle als beliebter Ausflugsgasthof mit Biergarten und Picknick Garten an einem Bach. Alles Recht urig und mit viel rustikalem Charme. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das englische Frühstück (auch glutenfrei) war sehr gut. Die Orange Marmelade war von Wilkin & Sons. Der Service im Pub war top.Das Zimmer (Nr. 5) war sehr ruhig, so wie alle anderen vermutlich auch, da nachts hier inmitten der Natur nichts los ist außerhalb des Pubs.

Cons:

Das Bett war leicht durchgelegen aber noch ok. Leider war es leicht verschwitzt, aber auch noch ok. Nun ja, es waren vorher gerade die wärmsten Tage des Jahres.

Onverwachte mooie plek om te overnachten.
Pros:

De sfeer vooral. Een mooie pub, geweldig terras aan de achterzijde met een stroompje. We hebben daar een heerlijke roast chicken specialiteit gegeten.
De kamer was comfortabel en mooi. S’nachts en s’ochtends geen geluiden, dus goede nachtrust. Ruim parkeren achter het pand. Dus perfect voor een start van een rit door de cotswold vanuit het zuiden.

An ok place to stay but I wouldn't go again.
Pros:

The room was ok but as it was on the ground floor of an old building we found it noisy. The building was under construction so things were somewhat inconvenient.

Cons:

The food was rather mediocre unfortunately.
