La literie était bonne
J'y ai séjourné en août 2019 mais là, ça n'a plus rien à voir. Je suis trop déçue. Aucun entretien, équipements vieillot. La salle de bain est une honte pour un hôtel. Nous avions une chambre dans l'aile où il y a la piscine : des hurlements jusqu'à 22h. Je n'y reviendrai plus.

‼️they overbook rooms. We didn't get the room type that we reserved. Long nonsense talk, to explain how this happened and at the end we got a smaller less luxurious room than booked via this website.
Staff tried to recover the negative feeling about this.
Cleaning staff leaves windows open, resulting in a room full of mosquitos .
This hotel is full of tourists that are arriving by the groups, I would not recommend this place to stay. Many much better options in town available.
Very outdated interior.
The rooms were spacious. The bed was comfy. The shower was amazing. We used the pool and the hamman and sauna. We had an excellent massage! We used the snack bar rather than the restaurant as we had seen a few days ago that they did vegetable gratin. Even though it wasn’t on tonight’s menu, they cooked it for us specially! The tempura vegetables were amazing. Excellent , cold white wine!!

This is a good hotel; it just does not stand out in anyway. Because of its size, it is a safe bet for people who are on the way through.
Hit and miss, booked on two separate occasions. First room was impeccable, king bed nothing to fault in the facilities and then the second time got the room next door (same class of booking) and the bed was smaller, the chrome in the shower was fraying and sharp, stones were missing in the bathroom and one of the bed side lamps was missing. Best front desk service out of anywhere we stayed in Madagascar. Lots of extra facilities (pool/ games area/ spa/ hammam)
The food was the most expensive and the least impressive of our entire stay in Madagascar. Service from the maître-d was so average felt like leaving except we just want to eat anything then retire to bed. Would highly suggest going elsewhere in town if you arrive early enough.
It's claimed to the best hotel in town.
The windows cannot be locked properly. The hotel restaurant isn't as good as it seems. We ordered a disk of zebu, with most of which are fat instead of beef meat.
The location is great to access the market and set against the view top of Fianarantsoa. It can on occasion get a little noisy around that area, but the room was set back from the noise so I didn't hear much of it. In fact, whilst in Zomatel I felt I had quite escaped the hustle and bustle of the town!
The massages and spa were excellent. My only gripe with the massage was that in one of the rooms it became very noisy next to the main road and with the window open, however, I asked if we could transfer to another room which was possible. It might be a good option to suggest guests can take massages in their rooms if preferred. In addition, when ordering food to the room it took longer than suggested to arrive, but was very good quality once it did.
