Stay was good ,food was good hotel rooms were not great

Brilliant ! But shame regarding the room temperature. Would love to come back in October but not sure becuase of this .
Pros:

Gorgeous surroundings, great, kind helpful staff, food was delicious . Activities were great fun!

Cons:

The only complaint I have is about the temperature in the room . It was unbearable hot at night . Which meant my 10 year old struggled to sleep aswell. There was an air con unit but it made no difference . We also did not know it needed topped up with ice until the second day .

Perfect for a short-break with family.
Pros:

Perfect location. Fantastic facilities for kids. My toddler loved the soft play area, swimming and teddy-tastic activity.

Very beautiful location and staff were lovely
Pros:

The property was beautiful and a great location. Staff were excellent and very friendly and so helpful. The food was very nice too and lots to do

Cons:

Very noisy at night with kids running around the reception and they were very noisy although this wasn’t the hotels issue but we didn’t get a great sleep after a long day hiking and kids were still running around at 1am and screaming.

The hotel and landscape is stunning and the family history is increadable.
Pros:

The hotel has everything you need, entertainment a lovely restaurant and take out shop.

Cons:

The room temperature even with the fan on constantly , the heat is unbearable. Stayed for 2 nights and can’t wait to leave as we haven’t slept much. so wouldn’t recommend the hotel rooms if the weather has been hot.

Pros:

Staff were very helpful (especially in arranging the prompt turning off of a heated bathroom mirror - though why was it on in the first place?) . The location offers many activities and sights, and is a good base for exploring Argyll.

Cons:

For two days the restaurant had no coffee. There's absolutely no excuse for this, less than an hour from Glasgow! And in the heat of the night the very limited opening available on windows was not helpful.

Couldn’t sleep , otherwise very good .
Pros:

Clean room, remote beautiful location, wonderful staff including the general manager and the restaurant manager.

Cons:

Room very hot , couldn’t sleep . Needs air conditioning. The air cooler is useless . Can’t open the windows because of midges .A simple pedestal or table fan would have helped .

Lovely place with great views and nice food.
Pros:

Room was a great size and clean. The restaurant was good and staff were working really hard and were helpful.

Cons:

The rooms were really warm. We got a fan which helped and we were warned at check in but perhaps another fan could help? I think the pool and or breakfast should be included within the price.
