Pros:

The Castillo del Rey Hotel is a really wonderful place. The hosts are very friendly and always available within less than a minute, either by WhatsApp or in person. The breakfasts which they deliver to your room are super delicious and the coffee was some of the best I've ever had. They keep the pool covered, but it's available upon request. Town is about a 10-15 minute drive, but there are lots of food and simple shopping options available in walking distance, as well as access to nature and the lake. It's a quieter area than the downtown, I was happy to choose it. There is a birria place that is about a 5-10 minute walk away that I highly recommend. They can give you directions. It was delicious. And the flautas and tacos that are at the end of the street are excellent also. Thanks for a great stay!

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like is that my time went by too quickly!

Fantastic. I really enjoyed myself here.
Pros:

Whilst the immediate vicinity of the hotel was pretty run down. The hotel was set into the hill with some nice lawns and a great lake view from the balcony.

Cons:

When approaching the hotel, it was a little run down looking. Perhaps a fresh paint job on the wall by the street would be good?
