Pros:

L’emplacement en retrait dans la nature, mais près de la plage et de l’épicerie. Le calme de l’endroit, entendre les animaux et la possibilité de cuisiner.

Cons:

Je trouve qu’il manquait d’ensoleillement à l’hébergement, c’était très sombre et j’aurais bien aimé pouvoir profiter du soleil de la terrasse. Les voisins sont très près, ils étaient bruyants par moments.

Pros:

Mitten in der Natur zu übernachten ist auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis. Wir haben morgens Agutis gesehen, sehr viele Vögel und eine Katze saß häufig auf unserer Terrasse. In der Hängematte zu liegen in der Dämmerung mit Vogelgezwitscher ist extrem entspannend.

Cons:

Das Gebrüll der Brüllaffen am frühen Morgen ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber damit muss man leben, wenn man hier übernachtet. Auf jeden Fall braucht man keinen Wecker, um wach zu werden ;-)

Wunderbare Unterkunft an Top Lage, sehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Wunderschöne Bungalows in bester Lage und sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Konnten uns in eigener Küche optimal selbst verpflegen, aber auch sehr gute Restaurants sind ganz in der Nähe.
Im Garten sind viele Vögel und Nagetiere zu beobachten. Optimal
gelegen um Beach Life zu geniessen mit Karibik Lifestyle. Ein Besuch im Jaguar Rescue Center ist auch empfehlenswert. Wir würden hier wieder buchen.

Einmaliges Übernachtungserlebnis im Regenwald.
Pros:

Außergewöhnliche Lage 400 m von der Küstenstraße in den Regenwald hinein. Die Geräuschkulisse (von Vögeln, Brüllaffen und Insekten etc.) war spektakulär. Der private Garten war auch sehr schön. Einfach nur auf die kleine, eigene Lodgeveranda setzen und genießen! Elena, die aktuelle Hausverwalterin, stand jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung und war sehr nett.

Cons:

Einige Dinge bedürfen der Reparatur, z. B. Entkalkung der Kaffeemaschine, Klodeckel und Brille lose. Türknauf in der Badezimmertür war halb rausgerissen und die Badezimmertür sitzt auf. Allerdings waren dies Kleinigkeiten, die uns nicht weiter groß behindert haben.

Beautiful tranquil place just a short walk or cycle from puerto viejo. Bus stop (to get to Cahuita and limon) and supermarket is just around the corner. Lovely to waking up to armadillos, howler monkeys, agouti’s and the sounds of numerous birds.

If you’re a nature lover and don’t mind a few critters this is the perfect place. Waking up to howler monkeys and seeing agoutis and birds outside the casa was a welcome surprise! Owners were super helpful with recommendations too!

Lovely cabin away from the bustle of Puerto Viejo
Pros:

Lovely little cabin in a lovely jungle garden. Only 5 mins walk to Playa Negra, and 15 into the centre of Puerto Viejo. Kitchen has everything one needs for basic cooking. At night only the sounds of the jungle are all around.

Geweldig!! Paradijs voor birders
Pros:

Wat een verborgen parel. Een oase van rust, veel wildlife! Prachtige tuin. Voor birders: ik heb hier veel nieuwe soorten gezien zoals fasciated antshrike en de purple throated fruitcrow. In de tuin een white collared manakin die zijn ‘lekking’ deed in de bosjes. Echt geweldig!!!!! Een paradijs voor vogelaars.

Het huisje was ook heerlijk. Keuken ook erg fijn. Je kan zelf prima koken daar. Supermarkt op loopafstand aan de hoofdweg. Ik zou zeker terugkomen.

Alles was perfect!

Pros:

This place is for nature lovers. Only 4 huts in almost a jungle/park. You can watch colibres from your hammack. Slotsh in nearby, I also saw aguris. Very close to Puerto Viejo and walking distance from Playa Negra. There is mosquito net installed, that is pretty new.
