Buckeye Tree Lodge

I would highly recommend staying at the Buckeye Tree House! First, I appreciated how they patiently answered my questions before I even arrived. The pool is wonderful, so is the tree swing and being by the river! The lodge accomodations are wonderful, too, and the rooms remind me of efficiencies. The Gateway Restaurant is close by and has really good burgers! Both my sons said they would stay here again, too! The management is really welcoming and helpful!

We loved the cabin we rented here! Super close to the park and everything you need within 20 minutes' drive! Would stay again and highly recommend!

We stayed here a couple of days and our favorite part was the view and sound of the river out our back window. It was very soothing. The room was a small space to try and figure out where to put our suitcases and the bathroom was even smaller with no counter space for necessities. We did however enjoy the quiet air conditioning unit and the beautiful cork floor. Bed was comfortable but pillows could be upgraded or at least have feather pillows as an option. Not really any place to walk on the grounds and road is narrow and busy so you’re pretty much confined to a small room. There are nice chairs to sit on in the back yard overlooking the river and some nice flowers too. The front desk is not always available but met our needs.

Понравилось всё!!! Невероятно чисто и душевно!!! Рекомендую тем, кто ценит не luxury, а отношение. Всё сделано с любовью. Особенно порадовал кофе. Был предложен кофе в зёрнах и кофемолка прямо в номере. С удовольствием выпили кофе, любуясь прекрасным видом. Рекомендую 100%!!!

Nice stay in Eagle Cabin. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen adequate. Parking and driveway not for large rigs.

Location. Location. Location. Right on the gorgeous Kaweah River! Close to Sequoia Park entrance. We had beauty weather, so sitting out on the patio watching the river w coffee was pure pleasure. Fresh coffee beans, grinder & pot in your room!!

There is no breakfast at the hotel, the location is really perfect, 3 minutes drive from the sequoia entrance, the river behind the hotel, the lawn, the swings, the picnic area are all very beautiful!

Loved the proximity to the forest. The river right outside is very soothing and magical.

Beautiful Lodge. We had a room directly next to the river which was amazing. It was comfortable and right next to the Sequoia NP entrance.

We wanted to take 5 days away from Los Angeles, to discover Sequoia park and rest/ recharge, also make NYE a bit memorable . We decided last minute so we did 2 days in a lovely cabin with kitchen, and 2 days in the Forrest cabin, much bigger. We came with our dog too. The location is priceless you are just 2 min drive from the Park entrance, it's so helpful, because we could go very early and avoid lines. The weather was not the best but we still manage to do wonderful hikes in the park in the morning, then go back to the lodge and take our dog to Case Mountain which is 10 min drive towards Three rivers. The pool was clean and amazing for cold plunge, the cabins are well set up, clean, and the view is always nice. The staff from the lodge were always helpful , especially when we had to move from one cabin to another.
There is a few bar/ restaurant around if you like to eat outside as well.
There is a trail just above the lodge you can access from the cabins, very pretty as well.
I think among all the hotel/ lodges around they have the best location!!

If I had 2 things to change , I would say, better shower pressure and maybe a lower fee for the dog.
I recommend this place 100 pourcent!!!
