Beautiful location and lovely staff
Pros:

Beautiful location, lovely friendly staff and lots of tea - always served according to Vietnamese tea ceremony (very similar to Chinese ceremony)

Cons:

The bed was a bit firm for European tastes...

Unexpected journey into the clouds.
Pros:

The construction using local rock, the quaint downstairs ensuite with timber bath were unique.

Cons:

Unfortunately Mr was slightly incapacitated and found the uphill walk to the restaurant difficult, along with the stairs to the room and into the ensuite. The low beds, rather thin mattress' on the floor he also found uncomfortable. But the staff were so helpful with luggage ect we still enjoyed the stay.Would not recommended for those where climbing stairs and steep inclines may be put to test.

Pros:

Breakfast was basic Pho. To be honest it is more suitable for Vietnamese couples looking for a quiet romantic getaway. Very quiet and secluded and quaint. A mountain retreat miles from town.

Cons:

The WIFI did not work at all in room. Had too wait for 3 HRS upon arrival for the hot water to be fixed.

We have had an amazing trip to the Northwest of Vietnam, partly due to our choice of stay. Wonderful
Pros:

Amazing location - you can watch the surrounding peaks and the sky/clouds in their most beautiful apperance throughout the day and night from the rooms, the reception, the tea room, and the restaurant. Foods and drinks are sourced locally at best, with wide range for choices and wonderfully tasty. Above all, the owner and the staffs are friendly, helpful and making you feel as trusted friends right from the beginning (with your online booking) until the end (to say goodbye).
