Clean, super helpful staff, walking distance to the park’s gate (less crowded but with convenient access to all main attractions). Peaceful surroundings, very good food options both at the hotel and in several small restaurants around. Breakfast is offered as a buffet, includes all that is needed, also fresh brewed coffee.

Everything was really nice. The people working in the hotel are really friendly and helpful, they arranged a pick up from the train station and also our tickets for the park and tianmen mountain. You can eat breakfast and dinner,Best hotel.

I can't thank Merry enough. She is an incredible host, and our stay simply wouldn't have been this perfect without her. She organized everything for us down to the smallest detail, so all we had to do each day was follow the itinerary she had carefully planned and enjoy ourselves.

Every evening, we were welcomed not only with the most delicious home-cooked meals but also with our freshly washed laundry waiting for us. It truly felt like coming home for a few days to visit our family.

I am immensely grateful for everything Merry did for us. If we ever return, there is no question—we will stay here again.

Eravamo gli unici ad alloggiare nella struttura e questo ci è piaciuto molto perché ci siamo potuti godere di più la pace di questo luogo e la cagnolina, principessa della casa:)
Mary, la padrona di casa, è stata super ospitale e gentile, cambiandoci la stanza con una più spaziosa, per altro veramente graziosa e siccome era la nostra luna di miele ci ha fatto trovare il letto bandito di dolciumi tipici e fiori dal profumo pazzesco.
Ha prenotato per noi i biglietti del parco con tanto di percorsi prestabiliti con anche punti di interesse poco affollati.

Per non parlare della cucina, è molto brava e ci tiene a far assaggiare agli ospiti i prodotti freschi locali e fatti da lei a mano.

La colazione super buona ed entrambe le cene strepitose.

Un hôtel formidable ! Tout était parfait, de l'accueil au départ. Le personnel est attentionné, les chambres sont très confortables et l'emplacement est excellent. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce séjour mémorable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

We just wrapped up a 4-day stay at Yelu Home-stay near the West Entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, Merry made us feel completely at home.

The food was absolutely delicious – hearty, authentic meals that hit the spot after long days of exploring. But what really set this stay apart was Merry's help with planning our park itinerary. Her tips saved us so much time and made navigating the area super easy and stress-free.

Sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Merry hat uns bei den Tickets und der Routenplanung geholfen und Fahrer für die Wege zum Flughafen organisiert. Das war Gold wert. So haben wir abseits vom ganzen Trubel sehr schöne Wege im Park wandern können.

Das Frühstück und Abendessen können wir empfehlen. Immer verschieden und unglaublich lecker.

Ce homestay était parfait. Il est situé près de l'entrée ouest du parc. On peut s'y rendre très facilement à pied.
Mais ce qui fait le charme de cet établissement, c'est sa propriétaire qui a été aux petits soins pour moi. Elle m'a préparé un itinéraire fantastique sur deux jours. Elle a toujours été là pour répondre à mes questions. On est accueilli par un thé et des petites gourmandises. Le petit déjeuner du matin était délicieux et varié. La chambre était grande, très propre et très confortable. Je me suis sentie comme à la maison durant ce séjour où tout était parfait. A mon départ, Mary m'a remis un cadeau dont je vais pouvoir faire bon usage à mon retour à la maison.

La proprietaria è davvero gentilissima, ci ha prenotato gli ingressi e strutturato la visita, consigliandoci in ogni cosa. Ci ha anche fatto una lavatrice gratuitamente, essenziale in viaggi di questo tipo. I pasti, cucinati da lei ed il suo staff sono deliziosi! La struttura è pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, si trova inoltre a pochi metri dall’ingresso del parco, raggiungibile direttamente a piedi. Non posso che consigliare, una meraviglia!

Adoramos tudo, quartos lindos e limpos, com tudo o que é necessário para a estadia, desde chinelos, a pentes, chás, máquina de água filtrada fria e quente, etc. mas o melhor de tudo foi a comida! Jantamos lá duas vezes, e podemos afirmar que foi das melhores refeições que tivemos na China, nota se que todos os ingredientes são de excelente qualidade e a comida era divinal. Depois todo o staff é muito simpático, a Merry esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar, e ainda tivemos a sorte de brincar com o tuh baba! Foi sem dúvida um lugar que ficará para sempre marcado na nossa memória, obrigada!

We are so thankful we chose to stay here. First of all, the location is fantastic, being just a few minutes' walk from the West Gate is incredibly handy.
I highly recommend using this entrance, as it’s much less crowded and touristy than the East Gate.
The property itself is beautiful.

We loved the common area where we had breakfast and dinner; it creates such a friendly, open, and "homey" atmosphere. The rooms are nicely designed and spotless. Merry even gave us a free upgrade because it was available and let us choose our favorite room, so sweet!
The food is simply delicious. We stayed for three nights and ate dinner here every single evening because there was no reason to go anywhere else.

Merry and her helpers cook amazingly using fresh products from her garden, and she always makes sure to prepare something you’ll love. The breakfast is also great, with both Western options and noodles available.
Merry truly cares about what she does, and it shows. We arrived without a plan for the park, and she organized everything for us. She also arranged our pick-up from the station and our transport when it was time to leave, which was so convenient. She has great connections with local drivers, ensuring a better price and much less hassle for her guests.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, she assisted us with every detail. Her knowledge of the park is incredible, you can't go wrong with her advice. We couldn’t have done it without her!

Exceptionally good homestay! While the accomodation is great, the host is what makes this homestay special. Merry will ensure that your visit to the Zhanjiajie park / Tianmen mountain will run smoothly by arranging tickets / giving you detailed and flexible routes to follow / helping to arrange transport where needed etc. She knows the park very well, so can adjust routes day by day to make sure you see the best bits while keeping the schedule manageable. This level of help ensures you make the most of your time in Zhangjiajie.
The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a water dispenser and electric blankets in our room, tea and coffee and snacks were always available, and the included breakfast was tasty and filling. A freshly cooked evening meal is available which has generous portions and is tasty. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the West gate entrance to the Zhangjiajie park.
