Wir konnten den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen.
Pros:

Alle Räumlichkeiten sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals ist beständig auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste ausgerichtet. Der Zimmerservice ist gründlich und zuverlässig. Das Angebot einer Saune war uns sehr willkommen.

Cons:

Ein zusätzliches Kopfkissen wäre im Doppelzimmer für beide Betten wünschenswert.

Perfekte Lage, wunderbare Terrasse mit perfektem Ausblick

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind für diesen Preis ziemlich standardmäßig ausgestattet. Die Doppelbetten sind nur zum Schlafen geeignet, wenn man sie für etwas anderes benutzt, bewegen sich die Hälften auseinander, man fällt durch die Mitte des Bettes. Ein Wasserkocher wäre wünschenswert, dabei hilft aber gerne das Personal sehr gerne in der Kantine

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Charming, well-appointed hotel set into the forest, with friendly, helpful staff. We could access trails from the hotel or take the National Park tram deeper into the park to access additional trails.

Cons:

Wifi was spotty.

Amazing staff and great hikes!
Pros:

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and super nice.
We tried their valentine's menu for our wedding anniversary and it was exceptional.
The location is great with access to a lot of great views and great hikes.

Cons:

The bed was with two separate mattresses which was a bit uncomfortable for me and my partner.
It is somewhat difficult to get there if you don't own a car as public transport works for a short time during the evenings.

Pros:

Warm welcome and big plates of food. Soup for starters (great flavours, would have preferred it hot, but wasn’t a big deal). For my main I had a dish that came from the surrounding woods (venison with foraged mushrooms with noodles). Was divine. Three of us all enjoyed 3 courses.

Pros:

Beautiful location, nice vintage rooms (vintage, but well renewed), all the spaces nicely decorated - very cozy and welcoming; very tasty food (both breakfast and restaurant meals). But what made our stay absolutely unforgettable is the staff - everyone were so friendly and made us feel very welcome! We had a bit of a problem - our return train ticket was early in the morning, und unfortunately the first bus from the hotel to Bad Schandau was scheduled later, so we tried to book a taxi, but there were no available taxies anymore. We thought that we will unfortunately have to walk to Bad Schandau on foot (which would take us 1.5 h), but the owner of the hotel volunteered to drive us himself!! So we had a breakfast and then he drove is to the Bad Schandau train station and we safely came back home. Thank you very much for all the support and attention, the stay and the whole experience was exceptional.
