We arrived and the owner claimed not to have received our booking and wouldnt allow us to stay. Booking.com showed him as having a vacancy that night
Nice place with very good customer service
No body wash, no water in the room and parking was limited. Lots of stairs but we had help with bags.
Location, cleanliness and nice room
Hot water is turned off all the time, they don't turn unless we request again. Even once turned on it won't last more than mins, after 5 mins you get cold water.
This property had a gorgeous view! It was very clean and modern but still had a jungle/boutique feel. It wasn’t too big so the staff was familiar with your face and genuinely seemed to care about your stay and had great recommendations for activities! The food was AWESOME.
Room 7 is situated between the road, common area and bar. It was a little difficult to sleep in in the morning - I wouldn’t stay in this room again if I had the choice. I think many properties are close to the road so not much you can do regarding that. Something to note: the restaurant is closed on Mondays so if you want a drink or food you have to look elsewhere. Not a dealbreaker, it forces you to go find someplace else! This is also listed on their website.
Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh squeezed juice and a snack. Our room was large with ceiling to floor glass doors and windows that allowed for a breathtaking view of the beach. The owners and small number of staff make this place a wonderfully charming place to stay. It’s in a great location and I would absolutely stay here again.
There’s nothing I didn’t like. I liked everything about my stay here.
View from the terrace was soothing, ever-changing, and generally terrific
Receptionist and owner very nice and specials.
Need some work with cook guy but this not change how we feel on the property. Nice and safe.
We enjoyed the beach view and the wildlife we were able to see right from our balcony. The beach was at walking distance about 5-8 mins walk but the road is mostly hill
The restaurant prices were ridiculous, there’s no description on the menu item, we ordered some quesadillas and it came in with eggs with no chicken (they were disgusting - ended up throwing them away), on top of that we were charged $21 for the eggs quesadillas despite the menu stated they were $16 excluding the 13% taxes, the math still didn’t add up.
Also, the minibar items were outrageously overpriced. $5 for a beer, when down the road we were able to buy same beer for $3
