Pros:

The breakfast is good, the bed is comfortable and the room and bathroom is clean

Cons:

It is old and worn and it was a bit dusty. The furniture in the room is old and dark which we did not like.

Hobbit Hotel Terrible Experience
Cons:

There was limited parking at the hotel. I had to walk across the road away from the hotel to park my car. This was so inconvenient and unsafe.The beds were very hard. The room we stayed was outdated. There was loud noise from music from a nearby pub during our stay from Thursday to Sunday. The noise would only end around 2am.

Good value, good location, good staff, I will return.
Pros:

Breakfast is OK, came a little cold, but the staff are extremely enthusiastic, and very willing to help, they make the stay a pleasure. It is my second stay, and I will stay again, Log fires in the evening and at breakfast when it is chilly. The staff bend over backwards to help. Good linen, good thick, clean towels, comfortable beds, 24 hour concierge - what's not to like? Good value.

Cons:

No hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes, adding two hooks to the door would be a game changer.

Pros:

Only one lady working on 09/07/26 afternoon shift was kind. The staff for the 10th morning was the worst I have ever met in my travel life.

Very unfriendly ang arrogant. The food was so bad .

A wonderful , classy, classic experience.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always on duty and very helpful. The wood burning fireplace in the lounge was an added bonus, and the suite was large and comfortable.

Cons:

There was unfortunately no bottled drinking water in the room, and the TV channel selection was very basic.

Great services. Perfect for an over night stay
Pros:

Loved the breakfast and the services offered. Room was clean and had good privacy.

Receptionist (Kwanele) was very helpful

Cons:

Lack of bath soaps and hand creams you'd get in a Standard boutique hotel.

Bath tub and shower had a bit of an issue

This is like an Inn out of the Hobbit and LOR storybooks.
Pros:

I am a JRR Tolkien fan and whenever I am in Bloemfontein the Hobbit Hotel is my place to stay. I just love how this little gem of a place uses the story theme to enhance the overall ambiance of the place.

Cons:

I cannot say there was anything I did not like. Everything was in my books likable.
