I was not impressed about the towels in the bathroom.There were full of smudges and look like they haven't tasted clean water for a long time.Either than that everything was excellent

Pros:

Location is good and central, breakfast was decent. 24 hour front desk is great - staff are helpful and friendly! :) Good hot shower. Clean crockery, clean flooring and carpets in common areas and rooms, hand rails along stair cases are well maintained and very useful.

Cons:

While the building appears to be maintained in general and there were renovations done, the interior cleanliness and daily upkeep is lacking - bedsheets were torn and dirty (I recommend you carry your own), toilet was not clean, floor towel was frayed (no other towels provided - I recommend you carry your own). Appearance was good (new decor/ tiling/ lighting/ curtains/ furniture/ TV/ bar fridge/ kettle), but attention should rather be spent on cleanliness in my opinion. I noted used insulin syringes in the parking area - this is unsafe and unsightly, and in this respect the outside areas around the building (especially the areas around the ground floor rooms) needs to be cleared up and maintained. The pub shares a common entrance point from the outside leading up to reception. For this reason security can be improved as I was approached by inebriated individuals while carrying our luggage in - it is possible that this may just have been an odd occurrence. There is a staircase from the parking/ entrance to reception and rooms, so wheelchair access and frail or unsteady persons may have some difficulty.
