The location of the property. The parking was across the street from the hotel entrance. I couldn’t go to the car and drive out at night as a young lady, already upon arrival you are told to hold your belongs safe. So annoying. Basically you are confined to the hotel. The water was brown, I had to wait an hour for the water to clear up before i could shower and brush my teeth, taking up a chunk of my time as I had exams in the morning

It's perfect. The parking and the place are well positioned. The parking feels safer, your security team is very sharp and conducts themselves professionally — kudos to them. The reception staff are quick to assist, and housekeeping responds promptly. Consider expanding your buffet menu — sorry to mention this, but take a look at how broad the Manhattan Hotel buffet is. You could also increase the price to make it even better. I wouldn’t mind a buffet costing R360 to R400. Try it, and you’ll thank me, I understand R 215 you want to make it affordable but I think it's time to give more and we pay more for good food. Maybe in a week, 2 days have a well expanded buffet and see how customers respond. And keep the affordable version 3 days a week and gradually introduce more days. The ice machine is perfect. Restaurant staff are incredibly patient and readly available. The food is good but needs improvement by expanding the buffet menu. I stayed with you for 3 nights and had good experiences with my wife. We plan to visit your hotel at least once every 2 months for 2 nights. Your online price discount is encouraging 👍. I hope my inputs will be viewed I a positive way.

Cons:

Upgrade your air conditioners too noisy. I feel that, for me, the standard and superior rooms are the same. All your rooms should have a bar fridge, regardless of the room category. Space-wise, the hotel rooms are perfect. Some TVs need better positioning. I think the standard rooms have better TV placement than the superior rooms. A smart TV with Android or iOS would make a big difference. The current TVs occasionally have signal issues or show waves while playing more like signal interface. I’ve stayed in both standard and superior non-smoking rooms. Consider adding something unique to justify the price difference between room types.

Will only stay there again due to convenient location to major hospital.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. The lady chef at the egg station yesterday was wonderful.
Location is great for hospital visits.
Parking across the road is good and secure. Takalani was excellent.

Cons:

Generally, desk staff and doormen are not always friendly. Doorman on arrival didnt assist with any aspect of our arrival considering 1 pax on crutches.
Bathrooms need updating. Basin vanity is too cramped. Lighting is very poor.
Bedroom carpet is terrible. Replace with vinyl or tiles in my opinion.
The airconditioner being a console unit is extremely noisy.
Bathroom amenities very limited.
