Mixed experience
Pros:

Hotel is full of character, but is in need of an uplift as it is starting to look tired.

Cons:

There was a lot of noise outside by the local yobs, but it was a Saturday night, also staff could be heard dragging furniture around early in the morning.
The limited parking was so tight some spaces were unusable defeating the purpose

Cons:

Hard to find staff, reception card reader was unavailable due to a function , had to go to the bar to pay,the room was slightly shabby. Could be a great hotel, but needs investment in the facilities

Pros:

Professional check in and comfy rooms. Nice and clean.

Cons:

Just one minor issue, the fan in the bathroom didn't switch off and ran all night. Nothing serious.

Ideal Location, friendly staff, sadly no lift. room size ok but very cold, inadequat heating.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Quirkyness, Location. Comfy beds, room was ok for size. Nice Shower.

Cons:

The heating, so so cold. No Lift, the 3 steps in the corridor to the bedrooms had no light.

Pleasant hotel in central location. Great value stay.
Pros:

Good location, clean and well appointed. The room was quiet, despite group parties elsewhere in the hotel. The room had good facilities and was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful.

WiFi was good and easy to connect.

Cons:

The parking location was hard to find and not well signed.

There was no evening food menu, despite the info in the rooms.
