The owners were very accomadating and understanding (given our ferry was delayed). Hence despite that setback our break

Ovewrall a great visit and we wuld stay a again when on the island
Pros:

The staff were great and very helpful. Food was great. The room was comforable and spaciuos. The hotel was well positioned for our needs on the trip.

Cons:

The en suite could have done with a blind on the window. Whikst hlf was frosted, the top was clear glass and we felt rxpoderd to passing traffic.
The restaurnat could have been a litlke bit warmer in the mornings. It felt chilly and one of the staff was wearing her coat one morning!

The Jewel in the South of the Isle of Man

If you want to stay in the South of the Island there is no better place to stay.
Pros:

The location of this property is excellent, both in terms of being 12 mins drive to the airport but more importantly fantastic views over Gansey bay, with a lovely walk to Port St Mary. As we were there 5 days we booked room 1 which is more like a suite being a large room with a sofa and a chair, very comfortable. It also has a wood burner which looked like it would be very cosy in the winter. The bar and restaurant were always busy and buzzing and the food was good and plentiful with very large portions. The nicest thing about the venue were the staff who to a person were very chatty and friendly. Will be back. One point of information which is nothing to do with the hotel but info for fellow travellers is getting a taxi in the South of the island is a nightmare so car hire might be a good idea, or the bus does stop right outside the hotel.

Cons:

The only gripe was the TV which was quite old so not a Smart TV and the signal occasionally fell out, but usually returned with a couple of seconds. Nothing else not to like.
