I called earlier than the check in time and the room was ready and we were able to check in early. I then broke a bottle at check in. They immediately cleaned it up for me and later gifted me a bottle of wine for me dropping mine. That was an unexpected surprise. All staff were friendly and very accomodating.
coffee in the room would have been preferred however I was able to go to the hallway to get coffee in the supplied plush robe.
Room was very updated and clean. All staff was friendly and it was very quiet in our room. We had dinner in the hotel, and that was a five star rating also. Great job
Staff was great, and great location
Best amenities in hotel in US we have been so far, even Marriott in Chicago doesn't provide use with cotton bud. And the soap smell amazing. You get 9 pillows per bed, no other hotel could compete.
Location and the pool.
Didn't get to check in until after 3pm because room still wasn't ready.
Power went out in town and the hotel's generator kicked on which was convenient but we returned to the whole 4th floor smelling like burning plastic and then our room smelt even worse. Someone opened windows up at the end of the halls to bring in fresh air but it was awful still and so strong.
Our room smell was even worse. We had to turn off the heat and sleep with the windows open to air out the room on a 40 degree day in NY. We had no idea what caused the smell, but being 7 months pregnant with two other small children in the room I was afraid we were inhaling something dangerous or something could still be burning.
At checkout, we only got an apology from the front desk. No one came around to explain the smell or to make our stay more comfortable.
We had a room overlooking the harbor. It was just beautiful. And the room was beautiful, too. Very roomy and comfy.
Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good, too. Loved walking around the hotel.
Nothing, it was great.
It was beautiful, so relaxing.
Parking was an issue one of the nights. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 08:00am, a bit early.
The view was excellent. We had a decent amount of space and it was fairly quiet. Maintenance responded quickly to a problem and had it fixed and got housekeeping to clean up in a matter of minutes. We had a lovely, relaxing time. And the food at the restaurant was AMAZING.
The only complaint we had was the mattress was too firm for us. We both had trouble sleeping and then I woke with a crick in my neck and shoulder.
