As always, we will be back!
Pros:

This was our fourth time staying at Palapas Del Sol. We will always return every year. The hotel, grounds, rooms, and beach are beautiful. It is a long standing hotel that caters more to the traditional vibe of the island. Gorgeous stretch of beach to walk the sandbar. I would like to add that the staff is great, and Ninfa is especially wonderful with everything!

Colourful and vibrant authentic hotel experience right by the beach
Pros:

The room and the hotel is absolutely incredible, the private balcony with a hammock was truly secluded and a perfect place to chill out in the afternoon before going into town. The grounds were amazing and the colours and the architecture were perfectly authentic. Location was excellent, for 150 pesos any of the ATV Taxis would take you into town or it was a 15/20 minute walk. There were lots of options to relax in the sun during the day and the bar down by the beach was fully stocked and well priced. Some of the other rooms looked amazing including the private watch-tower room, we hope to go back once day and we'll certainly be staying there if we can. The staff were all great and incredibly helpful, could not recommend staying here any more highly.

Cons:

Some families would just come and reserve four beds on the beach in the morning, not the hotels fault to be fair but we didn't manage to get one at any point during our stay.

Wonderful stay, we hope to return!
Pros:

Everything was wonderful and the owners very generous and hospitable. The property is incredibly well maintained, swept daily and rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels (probably unnecessary to have clean towels Every Single Day!). The atmosphere is just very chilled and serene. We loved it.

Cons:

Kamers zijn niet goed geïsoleerd waardoor je alles van buiten hoort. Onze kamer was dicht bij de receptie/het restaurant en dat hoorde je overduidelijk

Incroyable hôtel et plage
Pros:

Tout était parfait, entre le personnel au petit soin et notre chambre avec une vue magnifique depuis notre terrasse
On pourrais bien prolongé notre séjour
Notre coup de cœur entre l’île vraiment apaisante et cette hôtel plus que parfait.

Tolle Unterkunft, liebevoll gestaltet, direkt am Meer, schöner Strand, tolle Schattenspendende Hütten mit Liegen und Hängematten, super nettes Personal, tolle Atmosphäre, sehr guter Service, leckeres Frühstück und Essen, hilfsbereite Rezeption, wasserspender for free, geräumige Zimmer mit Terrasse und Hängematte, the Place to be for holidays

Jammern auf extrem hohem Niveau: Wasserdruck sehr gering, im Worst case kam zu Haupt-durchheizen wenig bis gar kein Wasser. Strand-Liegen extrem früh belegt, nicht ausreichend für Anzahl der Gäste

Superbe, quel déchirement de partir!
Pros:

Superbe hôtel, plein de couleurs, face à une plage digne de celles de Maldives
Le staff est très gentil, souriant, discret et réactif. Le petit déjeuner est bon (bol de fruits, plat à la carte, jus et café/thé). Nous avons aussi pris des repas à leur restaurant, le prix est raisonnable, les produits bons et joliement présentés.
L'hôtel est à 15-20min à pieds du centre, mais ça se fait en marchant par la plage qui est superbe, ou ils prêtent des vélos (ou en buggy taxi pour 150mxn). Il est tout prêt de Punta Mosquito, vous pouvez y être en 15min à pieds tous les matins

Cons:

(Ca serait super d'avoir plus de crochets pour les serviettes de douche / maillot à sécher)
(il y avait la machine à filtration de la piscine devant notre chambre qui est très bruyante, mais le staff a pu la stopper pendant la nuit pour que nous dormions au calme)
