Amazing stay get booking you wont regret it
Pros:

The place itself was amazing and the staff was brilliant and accommodated everything for us.

Cons:

The bed was comfortable but I scored low on comfort because it could have been a bigger bed. Apart from that everything else was great.

Pros:

Breakfast weekday was better than weekend. Choice and service both better .

Also, being a solo female traveler, a door chain or inside lock on the room door would be reassuring . I put the chair against the door.

Cons:

I don’t know if the brioche toast was available at the weekend, the staff just pointed to cold selection and was about to bring out hot food. I don’t eat meat, so bacon, sausage and haggis wouldn’t have suited me, but the brioche would.

Excellent food in a quality environment with lovely staff.
Pros:

The food! I had both dinner and breakfast here and both were excellent, the breakfast was one of the nicest I've ever had. The dinner was also excellent although I was disappointed that the Bakewell Tart dish on the menu was no longer available as I'm a bit of a freak for anything cherry-based!

Cons:

My only small complaint was the LCD screen on the phone in the room which is always on. At night, in an otherwise dark room, this thing shines quite brightly. I cured this by hanging my phone case over the screen but I don't know why it's lit-up all the time and not just when the phone is being used. Overall, this was a minor problem in an otherwise enjoyable experience.
