Pros:

Gregory, and Elenor pure class. Big shout out to Gregor. Very genuine lad and friendly. The rest of the staff could learn a lot from him. Get him signed up to a management training course.

Elenor also pure class and friendly professional and helpful.

Quirky hotel, pleasant stay, comfortable beds & good shower
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and very helpful/friendly staff.

Cons:

No lifts and extremely hot atmosphere in the stairwell. On a lighter note, I forgot tissues and a bath hat. Sadly they were not provided or available.

Pros:

Breakfast was great, with excellent service from the staff on that morning.
I arrived very late due to car trouble and the night staff were incredibly helpful.

Great overnight with friendly staff and exceptional breakfast
Pros:

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. In particular, Paula who greeted me at reception and made sure my room was ready for me. As a solo traveller I felt safe and well cared for. The hotel was beautifully decorated, clean and great value for money. The breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing

A good stopover hotel in Kirkintilloch
Pros:

Everything fresh and smart. Very good breakfast

Cons:

My room was quite small this time. Perfectly fine for one person though.
The last time I stayed I had a much larger room.

Lovely wouldxstay again
Pros:

Food was great.
Room was great.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Especially waitress in the evening restaurant and barman during the babyshower afternoon.

Only downside music seems to be on all yhe time in all the public area, it is loud and there is nowhere to go to chat that is quiet at all, maybe you could find a spot whete people who want quiet
There was also a party night on 1st floor which is directly below the bedrooms so noise again till 12pm in the room.

I still recomend the hotel though as it was good value, the bus from galsgowcand back stops right outside which is great

Cons:

Noise everywhere

3 star standards from a 4 star hotel.
Pros:

Clean but stained sheets.
Bathroom was very clean and the room the cleaning staff are great at their job one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. Bathroom is also a fairly good size walk in shower has plenty space.
Friendly staff although we were told the wrong time for Saturday breakfast (8am not 7am) but she was new on the job.
Rooms are decent enough size yes small but space to walk around the bed and plenty space for luggage even in smaller rooms.
Location is good only 22 minutes to the SEC, there's a few takeaways on justeat and Nigiri across the road is tasty albeit a tad expensive. I like the selection of books available and couple couches to sit at.

Cons:

We had to be moved rooms. Avoid room 17 and 18 there's a really loud pump or something below. Staff were nice enough to move us to 19 we could still hear the pump but at a tolerable level.
"Thoughtfully designed...tranquil base...sophisticated facilities..." Far from it
Lots of stairs but it does say there's no lift in the booking so that's ok just wasn't aware it was 4 flights to the second floor. Really does you in when you have to go up and down with ongoing issues. No phone in room 17 but there is in 19.
Showers don't work the pressure drops and water goes ice cold after a minute. They said they were sending maintinence but then later saw no record of it being fixed staff were always happy to help though and offered us to try another rooms shower although it also had the same issues.
As mentioned the sheets are stained but clean they should buy new ones.
Room 19 is very hot so don't pack PJ's and keep the window open.
Breakfast was ok although a bit overdone on bacon and sausages. Not a high standard youd expect given their description.
We had to ask for the pastries to be put out and they were the supermarkets mini ones (croissant, choc twist and apple turnover) they put out a two of each so felt bad taking even two.
Continental is help yourself although there's only bread jam and juice and there's sticks of arla cheese and salami. Rather have a buffet at a Travelodge better quality and quantity.
