First time staying at the Broadcroft in Kirkintilloch & we will definitely use it again.
Pros:

Very friendly polite and helpful staff, great selection of breakfast options all cooked to order not the usual buffet style as in most hotels, secure parking at hotel.

Cons:

The only criticism would be the lack of a power point close to the mirror, and a shelf in the toilet/ shower to hold toiletries, otherwise all was good.

It was a great stay from the excellent welcome, dinner was better than some of the reviews online.
Pros:

The cooked breakfast was hot and of a good quality, the waiting staff were clean ,professionial and very helpfull. Excellent value.

Cons:

N/A not good for people with mobility issues due to where the bedrooms are situated..

Enjoyable,
Pros:

Breakfast was good.
The staff coped well with a drunk wedding guest trying to sleep on the couch in the foyer.
Wee eck the chef catered well with our request.

Cons:

The evening meal was very nice but (because of a weddding) the time between courses was quite a long time. We had a change in waitress.

Deceiving. Was transferred to another room w/o any windows, legally there has to be two exit points
Pros:

Nice lady at the reception (greeting)

Cons:

Unsanitary room
Black mold on caulking around the shower and ceiling
Shower drain was overflowing
Smelled like algae/mold
Ventilation was filled with dust
No clarification requested from the managers part

Enjoyed the stay
Pros:

Location was good and easily accessible
Parking was at a premium in the area
Room was perfect for an overnight stay
The bed was very comfortable and had an excellent nights sleep

Cons:

The continental breakfast was excellent.
The cooked breakfast was ok with the bacon and scrambled eggs being poor.

Overnight stay
Pros:

The hotel is clean, in a good location and the breakfast was nice.

Cons:

We arrived back at 9.45pm and were told the bar was shut. It seemed odd that given its a hotel bar, it was closed to early, even to guests. The shower pressure was virtually non existant... it was dribbling out with zero force. None of the bedroom doors have any kind of soft closure fitted. So from about 7am we were lying in bed listening to doors slamming continually rather than having the bank holiday lie in we would have liked. We went down for breakfast about 10.15 and the waitress looked annoyed that we were there... made a point of visibly looking at her watch... it states that breakfast is available until 10.30 so we were unsure of the issue.
