No breakfast at this pub/hotel. Wasn’t a problem as we just walked & found lovely little cafes. Snacks & meals available when bar open. Had an evening meal & was great.

Rooms very mean & bed very comfy.
No parking on site but a large carpark a short walk away with 24 hour parking at only £2.50 for 24 hours. Bargain.
The pub in excellent location in middle of town.
Lovely walks all around & lots to see & do. Ample great ales to sample too in here & several other pubs.

Lovely pub downstairs with a great menu and selection of beers. My room was located up two flights of stairs but was exceptional . Very clean and smelt lovely!
My bed was huge. Light switches in all the right places. Spotless bathroom and a fridge! On arrival I received a warm welcome with everything explained.
I was asked if I would like to have fresh milk put into my refrigerator. Great selection of quality biscuits - Kit Kats etc. Nice selection of coffees and Yorkshire tea. Decent sized kettle that you can actually fill easily!
Staff were brilliant. I ordered my evening meal at the bar and the manager arranged for it to be covered and wrapped so I could take it to my room to eat. No request too big. Staff were generous with their time and extremely polite and courteous. This little pub knocks many big city hotels into a cocked hat! 10/10. Definitely recommend a stay and I would certainly love to return when next in Knaresborough.
