The room was large and comfortable with all necessary amenities. They even supplied a fan for the heatwave which was thoughtful. The rooms were very quiet despite being above a pub. In the fridge there is milk and water and they also give you lovely biscuits and a selection of hot drinks if that's your persuasion.
Breakfast can be purchased with a discount from their sister restaurant down the street.
The only quirks are if you are mobility challenged at all this is not the most accessible hotel, rooms are on the top floor up various narrow staircases. Don't bring massive luggage!
Not the hotel's fault but parking in the town is challenging and no matter where you leave your car it will be a bit of a walk to the Inn. Parking is also confusing, chargeable from 8am to 6pm and no overnight parking allowed but residents said that parking and removing your car before 8am was fine, feels at your own risk though.
Despite being above the pub on a night England was playing a World Cup final, the room is (amazingly) quiet. The meals at the pub were also good and the staff friendly.
Stair up to room didn’t bother us but would be a problem for those with limited mobility.
There’s no A/C but a small fan was provided.

Location was great
Clean spacious room

Comfortable bed and very quiet.
Small fridge with 2 bottles of water and milk
Poor quality finish in the bathroom and lack of attention to detail: cracked mug handle, rusty pop up basin plug; loose sharp bath panel, rusty toilet roll holder, no hooks on the door or wall to hang anything, terrible view of rubbish from bedroom window.
Staff very helpful and friendly, location perfect, room spotlessly clean, also bonus that it's pet friendly , will definitely be going back .
Nothing to dislike
The land lady was extremely polite and on the ball.
Very fussy about cleanliness an$ good service.
Only to happ6 to communicate and help
We stayed 1 night .
Unfortunately WE Spent SEVERAL HOURS UP LISTENING to noisy disrespect imbeciles arguing next door to us.
They should have been thrown out into the street .
Had it be3n my license and pub I would have physically thrown them out regardless
everything perfect
everything was excellent
The location was spot on - but what made it was the staff .
Even though we arrived on the hottest day, at the busiest time (lunchtime) we were met by such a friendly barmaid - I think I heard her name was Sonia
Very clean.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Central location in town, however no noise or other disturbances. Excellent food on offer in the pub below.
Great location, 4 minute walk to train station, parking 5 minute walk away, £2.40 for 24 hours, would recommend
