Confortable et sympathique
Pros:

Le cadre, la chambre, l'accueil. Le restaurant et sa cuisine japonaise.

Cons:

La brasserie (petit-déjeuner) dont la décoration n'est pas à la hauteur du reste.
La piscine : sa forme ronde n'est pas propice à la réalisation de longueurs.

Lovely historical hotel, not far from Nantes
Pros:

Comfortable room, lovely pool, great staff, great food.

Cons:

Definitely a food destination as got busier about at suppers when people would arrive. Otherwise very few guests. Large food portions also, starters more like main courses in my opinion.

An excellent luxury getaway
Pros:

Human size luxury hotel, very efficient and attentive staff, nice restaurants

Cons:

The location is a bit off-center (though not inconveniently so), and the soundproofing in the rooms is poor (due to the old architecture).

Heerlijk, luxe verblijf in Abbaye De Villeneuve
Pros:

De abdij is volledig modern verbouwd en van alle gemakken voorzien. We kregen een prachtige, erg ruime kamer (ik denk een upgrade) voor ons samen en voor onze dochter vlakbij een tweede. De kamers waren zo mooi en comfortabel dat ik nog eens de prijs checkte, die toch echt best meeviel. Het was erg heet dus de airco op de kamer en eerder het zwembad bij het hotel waren erg welkom. We hebben heerlijk geslapen! Ondanks misschien een enkel minpuntje hebben we het heel fijn gehad en was de service perfect!

Cons:

We zijn hier al eens eerder geweest en hoewel alles erg mooi, modern en comfortabel was, misten we toch een klein beetje de oude chic van de abdij zoals hij vroeger was. Vooral de brasserie (het waarschijnlijk betere restaurant was even gesloten, waarschijnlijk vanwege vakantietijd) viel ons iets tegen. Vroeger was het restaurant van ongelooflijke (klassiek Franse) klasse en nu was het allemaal niet slecht, maar ook niet echt heel goed.

Des petits détails pour passer un séjour parfait :
- serviettes propres et sèches à la piscine
- attente moins longue à la brasserie (vin blanc pas suffisant frais et entrecôte trop cuite)
- supplément œuf à 4€ au petit déjeuner.
