Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet.Der Gastgeber ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für das Frühstück durften wir vorab eine Karte mit unseren Wünschen ausfüllen. Das Frühstück wurde an den Tisch gebracht und war einfach fantastisch.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder!!
Pros:

Das Frühstück wurde individuell nach Wunsch zusammengestellt. Alles war reichlich, frisch und von sehr guter Qualität.
Wir waren an Ostern da und es gab sogar kleine Osterüberraschungen aus Schokolade, die liebevoll in die Deko und in die Umgebung integriert wurden. Der Gastgeber war stets ansprechbar für Fragen über das Hotel an sich, die Umgebung oder Ausflugsziele. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein sehr aufmerksamer junger Gastgeber, dem das Wohl seiner Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt!

Cons:

Die Uhrzeit zum Check in war mit 15.00 Uhr angegeben. Wir waren schon 14.00 Uhr da und wurden trotzdem freundlich empfangen. Für das verfrühte Check-in mussten wir 10 € extra zahlen, sonst hätten wir um 15.00 Uhr nochmal wiederkommen müssen. Das war etwas befremdlich...
Schade ist auch, dass es keine Parkmöglichkeit am Haus gibt. Aber in der nächsten Nähe ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, den wir ohne Gebühr nutzen konnten.

A friendly, modern, welcoming hotel – a perfect base to explore the area
Pros:

What a great find! This old hotel has been lovingly renovated and is now run by an enthusiastic young man (Julian), who became one of the many reasons we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and this region. He was very attentive, polite and always keen to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was large, bright, warm, quiet, and dark at night with the curtains closed, the bed was very comfortable, the TV large and modern, and the en-suite well-equipped.

The breakfast is made to order and you need to select what you want to eat the night before. Whilst this does mean you can't roam around a buffet looking for something to eat, the food was all very fresh and delivered on a tray to your table, so the breakfast room felt very chilled and relaxed. If there're extra things you want you can still order them on the morning.

The hotel is in a great position for exploring Königswinter by foot, and the trains / tram connections are easily reachable. For a comparatively small town, there were a surprising number of great restaurants available within walking distance, even on the 'rühetag' days when most places were closed.

Cons:

They're all tiny points, but the dining room was quite chilly (although other reviewers had already mentioned this so we came down suitably dressed!); there is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to your room (so not good for those with disabilities or for older people who struggle with stairs); and lastly the large bed is actually two single beds pushed together so there's a gap running between them.

Pros:

Der Hotelier war ein sehr netter Gastgeber, mit dem man sich gut unterhalten konnte. Er hat sein Hotel liebevoll eingerichtet.
Es strahlt viel Charme aus.
Kleinigkeiten, die nicht gepasst haben, wurden gut geklärt.
Das Hotel ist für Unternehmungen gut gelegen.
Das Frühstück war sagenhaft.
