• Overpriced and poorly managed
Pros:

Great location — you can ski almost to the hotel, with the slopes only about 100 meters from the entrance. This was the only good thing about the hotel, and the reason it didn’t receive a zero rating.

Cons:

The room wasn’t properly cleaned: the toilet was dirty, and both the bed linen and towels had stains even though they seemed freshly placed. There was no reception staff to request replacements, and housekeeping came only once around 5 PM, which is inconvenient after skiing.

We also couldn’t use the breakfast included in our booking because the restaurant was fully reserved for a private event, and even a coffee or hot drink wasn’t available. This should have been communicated in advance.

On the day of check-out there was a power outage. While this isn’t an issue itself, a staff member at reception saw us carrying heavy ski luggage downstairs and didn’t offer any assistance.

Overall, the price-performance ratio is poor and we would not recommend this hotel.

Il ne faudrait pas oublier que c'est un Hôtel et pas une auberge de jeunesse.
Pros:

Emplacement et point de vue salle de déjeuner exceptionnel. Emplacement de L'hôtel parfait pour départ et arrivée du ski. Le stationnement libre et gratuit. Petit déjeuner très honorable, bon, et suffisant.

Cons:

La chambre ne correspondait pas aux photos de booking!!!!. Petite surface et pas de balcon. Calcaire sur la vitre de douche. Sentiment de ménage très superficiel ( sous le lit restait une chaussette et un briquet du locataire précédant). Contour des toilettes non effectué. Chambre non aérée et odeur de renfermée persistante. vitre extérieure salle. Numéro de casier à ski ne correspondant pas à la chambre et plus de cadenas pour les fermer. Personnel jeune, très souriant et sympathique mais visiblement non formé ou ne connaissant pas les codes de base de l'hôtellerie. ( c'est assez désappointant de voir traverser du personnel dans la salle du p'tit dej en presque pyjama). Je sais que la clientèle est majoritairement anglaise est beaucoup moins exigeante que les " pénibles" :-) Français, mais c'est un peu trop "cool" pour un hôtel. Merci au directeur d'interroger la clientèle tel que ce fut mon cas.

Bien situé skis aux pieds .Facile d acces . Ascenseur . Prestations conforme à un 3 etoiles .

Cons:

Le repas du soir en demi pension n etait pas vraiment ce qu on peut attendre d un menu à 45 euros . Le plat principal etait sauté de porc accompagné de linguine normalement sauce curry inexistente .
Le porc etait sec et dur immangeable et le tout servi à peine tiede . Toutes les assiettes ou presque sont reparties pleines . Y avait il un vrai cuisinier ce soir là ? .

Great location and views. Basic facilities, accommodation and service.
Pros:

Location is as good as it gets in Alpe D'Huez directly opposite the Rif Nel piste it is ski in ski out.
Great view from panoramic windows in 4th floor dining room.
Room and shower was fine (except beds)
Boot room lockers were warm enough to dry and heat boots ready for morning.
Some staff were very pleasant and helpful, others less so.
Adjacent free parking.

Cons:

Beds are not at all comfortable - hard board with a thin mattress, one was in a state of disrepair / creaked and squeaked with slightest movement so one of us resorted to sleeping on the floor one night after hotel failed to address it after first night (having said they would). Triple room is just a double with an extra roll away bed in it so pretty cosy.
Some staff were very pleasant, welcoming and helpful, others less so.

Bon séjour
Pros:

4 nuits impec, chambre quadruple avec coin mezzanine pour les enfants en lits supperposés.
Magnifique vue du balcon sur les pistes.
Local à ski pratique au rez de chaussé avec cadenas et box par chambre, traversez la route et le parking et vous etes skis aux pieds.
Accueil très sympathique , il n y a pas toujours qq un ils sont aux étages ou au restaurant mais en appellant qq un descend. On a eu des pbs récurrents de clés qui se démagnétisaient, pas la faute des gerants.
Petit déj OK.
Repas du soir des fois ok, des fois niveau cantine très très basique (une fois poulet moutarde immangeable tellement il y a avait de la moutarde dans la sauce). Mais cela dépanne si on en veut pas sortir , bien que l on soit proche du coeur de la station. Petit kir de bienvenu au bar un soir, l intention y est?
Au final très contents de notre séjour.

A clear disappointment.
Pros:

Friendly staff, essentially made of students. It would have been good to feel some professional management around.

Cons:

The hotel was not clean. Do not look under beds! Tables not properly cleaned between meals. Food was worth a kindergarden cantine. Avoid bedrooms with a view on valley: you will be awaken as from 6 am by the snow grooming/clearing vehicles.
