Lauterbrunen views are unparalleled

The location is good and you are forewarned that there are no elevators and it is near a pub

Cons:

The only thing that caused me stress was not being able to charge my phone. I had the cord, but not an adapter. The staff were kind enough to let me sit in the pub and charge the phone, but it would be better to have a bedside port to use.

Amazing value for money, clean cosy and comfortable
Pros:

The shared bathroom was very clean and kept on top of with new towels in there every morning. The location was incredible and overall the room was cozy and clean. Worth every cent with the waterfall view.

Cons:

The 3 flights of stairs with suitcases was a bit too much cardio for me but thankfully they have beer downstairs.

We had a lovely stay at Horner Pub in Lauterbrunnen! The location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. From the train station, it’s just a short walk towards the famous Staubbach Waterfall, making it very convenient to explore the village and its beautiful surroundings.

The building has a bar on the ground floor and the accommodation upstairs. One thing we really appreciated was that we could leave our luggage there before check-in, which was very helpful as we arrived earlier.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but honestly, we didn’t really need it. Even though we visited during summer, the natural air in Lauterbrunnen was cool and refreshing, so the room remained comfortable.

We stayed in a family room. The shower was inside the room, while the toilet was separate and shared. Everything was simple and had a very authentic, cozy Lauterbrunnen feel.

Cons:

The main downside for us was the check-in time, which was quite late at 4 PM. Also, the bed was relatively small and may not be the most comfortable option for bigger/taller guests.

Pros:

Excellent location, great staff, comfy beds, easy check in/out and clean! My floor had 5 rooms I think and one toilet/shower for females and one for males. It worked pretty well, never had to wait long and the sink in the room was great. I had an excellent stay!

Cons:

There is noise from the pub downstairs and tourists walking by in the morning. Did not bother me but for some that could be an issue.
