Great location, shower needs cleaning and repairy
Pros:

Great location and great stuff. They allowed us to leave our bags in our first they before checking and the last day after check-out. Overall stuff was very kind and helpful.

Cons:

The shower curtain was very dirty. It clearly needs an urgent and thorough cleaning. Shower hose was broken too.

L'accueil à l'hôtel s'est fait au restaurant.

Emplacement. Chambre rénovée très propre. Salle de bain au top. Vue sur les montagnes.

The only thing positive about this was the location. The staff seemed friendly on check in at the restaurant area that is not at all connected to the hotel entrance but apart from that I cannot comment.

Cons:

I will start with the worst which was the shower was broken so my partner had to hold the shower above me (like the scene from Gavin and Stacey) just so I could shower. No staff were available by the time we realised this was an issue. You access the hotel via some steep, steel steps that are really not suitable for anyone with any, even minor mobility issues. You would not want to carry your luggage up and down the steps in wet conditions. You then enter the stairwell which looks like it’s from a 1970s horror movie. We had what we thought was just a normal room but walked in into the bathroom and because of this the door was rotting away. The room had a funny smell which they had tried to cover up with an air freshener so you got the best of both worlds with chemicals and damp smells. The bed and mattress were terrible, pillows were pancake thin and the mattress was also thin so you could feel all the springs. Other guests had mentioned they enjoyed the coffee in the morning but this was not the case for us as these had not been replaced. The shower curtain was vulgar at the bottom, needed replacing and was covered in orange grime.

新設丁寧な優しいホテル！

・受付の女性の方の対応が最初から良かったので、心地よかったです！
・お部屋からの景色がよかった！シュタウプバッハの滝がきれいに見えました。
・事前に連絡しましたら（英語のメッセージで）宿泊前に、キャリーケースを預かってくれて、
　チェックアウト後にも、キャリーケースを預かってくれていました！とても助かった！
・日本から【感謝プレゼント】を持っていき。チェックアウトの時に渡したら、とても喜んでもらえました！ありがとうございます。

・良くなかったところは、なかなか見つからない。
　ドアの鍵！中から閉めるのに鍵が必要なところぐらいかな。

Frühstück erst ab 8Uhr möglich - was nicht ideal ist für Wanderungen. Wir haben darauf verzichtet. Völlig inakzeptabel sind Mitarbeiter, die kaum Deutsch sprechen (wir sind nach wie vor in der Schweiz!) und dann nachts um halb zwei kiffend auf dem Balkon die Nachtruhe stören…
