Get what you pay for I guess. Never again

Convince right off the high way and near a few restaurants

Cons:

It was not clean. Stains on the floors smelled terrible. Like someone smoked in the for months I’m not a smoker. I went out to get air fresheners to help with the smell.

Cons:

The receptionist didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. Couldn't find our reservation, then found it and said we weren't due til later this month, but then found us but the room was all wrong. Had reserved a king suite with pull out couch and kitchenette, but got a 2 bed room. Wake the next morning to find roaches on the wall and n the sheets. Never staying here again

That the room was what I could see ok for the price

Cons:

The smell lord between the pot smell through out the building and parking lot it was almost unbearable, and the room itself smelled like an old ash tray that had never been cleaned. Only one light in the room worked bt at least the ones in the bathroom worked

Room was filthy. Key card door entry was broken. Told that if house keeping handles your garbage that you will be charged $20 per instance so guests are required to take the trash to the dumpster, my 83 year old husband being mocked in the lobby by someone sitting at a table because he asked if there was an elevator in their 2 story building. He didn't want to have to carry heavy bags up the stairs if he could help it, not handicapped accessible, shady people inside and outside the hotel, I could go on and on.

Staff was horrible and did not follow their own policies.
Pros:

Nothing good about this place.

Cons:

I am 18 and often travel by myself. Th Home Place Inn's own site explicitly states that there is no age restriction at check in. I drove an hour and a half to get there only to be told that I had to be 21 to check it. I showed them that their own site says no age restriction, but they didn't care. No manager on site to speak to and extremely rude staff. I finally found a much more expensive place 30 minutes further that would let me spend the night. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
