Die Lage ist top
Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit Balkon und es ist alles da was man braucht. Toaster Mikrowelle Wasserkocher Tee und Kaffee sowie Geschirr Besteck und Spülutensilien.
Wir würden bestens informiert und haben Tipps bekommen wo man gut essen/einkaufen kann.

Fantastic stay! Was a great place to return to after adventuring around the island during the day

Nice place.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable.
The room was airconditioned
View of the ocean was great
The staff were great

Cons:

There were no cooking utensils. No pots or pans, no tongs or spatula.
The shower door leaked resulting in wet towel on the floor.
The outdoor BBQ facilities were what we ended up using most the time, however this was on or off, the system did not have any control over the temperature

One of the best places to stay on Christmas island!
Pros:

Lovely location, excellent pool area, good size room, friendly staff and owner.

Cons:

Would have liked a change of towels during our week stay and a later check out than 10 am.

Mein allererstes Mal auf der Weihnachtsinsel , im südindischen Ozean - experimentiert🫠🫠 Dankeschön

Eigentlich würde ich im Gesamthaften eine 7/sieben geben - Konnte es aber nicht mehr ändern !

Es ist schön & soweit herrlich gelegen hier - das SunSet-Mõtel in Flying-fiSh-cove....!!
Direkt ein paar Meter oberhalb des Ozeans situiert !

Leider gibts keine Frühstückmöglichkeit oder sonstige Verpflegung in der Unterkunft [!!]
Dafür hatte es in meinem Zimmer Tee/Kaffee/Zucker, 1L Vollmilch, ein Teewasserkocher, 1Mikrowellenerwärmer & einen Brottoaster , den ich aber nie brauchte , einen Kühlschrank + einen TV mit Sendern, jedoch nur! englisch, und Leider keine andere Sprachen !!
Zum Teil sind-/waren die Tavernen in der nächsten Umgebung geschlossen; dann muss man halt einfach weiter fragen, was , wie & wo offen ist ! !

Frau/Signora Angela ist eine fürsorgliche Frau/+Oma/Mutter.... Herzlichsten Dank für Alles !!
.. es hat auch ein schönes kleines Bad draussen - zum Teil mit Sonnen-/Regenschirmüberdachung , sehr klein & auch so fein gestaltet....!
Der nächste Super-/Minimarkt ist in etwa 10Fussminuten vom Zimmer aus erreichbar - dieser hat allerdings sehr frühzeitig, nachmittags ab 5Uhr schon geschlossen !!
Es hat dann noch ein paar hundert Meter weiter noch ein anderer freundlicherer Mini/Supermarkt, auch auf der linken Handseite gelegen , zirka 50 Meterchen neben/hinter der malaysischen Moschee entfernt - welcher unter der Woche in der Regel meistens bis 20Uhr geöffnet hat !! Nur Sonntags hat dieser Laden dann um 18Uhr zu !!
Bezahlen durfte man auch mit Master-/& Visakarten ! Sowie auch noch mit Bargeld .......

Cons:

.... es gibt glaub ich gar keine Taxis mehr , auf dieser Insel !!
Im Netz gibt es dazu wie fast immer-/überall, verschiedene - manchmal widersprüchliche Angaben !!!!
Ich musste dann selbstständig die Fahrt ins Mõtel hin organisieren .....
😇🫠Durfte dann mit einem sehr lieben FRL.Signorina bis zu meiner Unterkunft mitfahren ! ! 🥰😇

Excellent view, very kind owner with a marvelous room.
Pros:

The owner Angela is so helpful and kind. I was in a room with a sea view in the upper floor. The room has a an excellent air conditioner and a large sealing fan. Angela also arranged for me a rented 4x4 car for 3 days which was very convenient exploring the island. If one day I will return to the island I will definitely come back here.

A few good memories, but 'flu plus isolation restricted what I could do.
Pros:

The pleasant location by the seaside was nice, though I must admit I had envisaged nearby sandy beaches, which was not the case.

Cons:

1. I could not find The Sunset, as it is not visible from the street and there was no sign indicating how to get from Gaze Rd to the accommodation (you have to turn down Tampa St for anyone reading this).
2. Not a lot The Sunset (or other accomm providers) can do about it, but dining amenities in the township were very limited, unless you have a car. Rental cars are in very short supply - I could only get one for two days - which meant that on at least two occasions my evening meal was negligible. I'd add that I have had recent knee surgery, and had the 'flu, so I could not walk more than about 1.5km at a time. Apparently there are more dining options up the hill, but I couldn't get there. I didn't enquire if they offered take-away, but maybe this information could be supplied to visitors?. On the positive side, the manager did what he could to help me out for things such as giving me a ride to the Supermarket.

Comfortable accommodation from which to explore the island's attractions.
Pros:

Location looking over the ocean was great. Spacious room with facilities to do your own breakfast and snacks. Nice swimming pool.

Cons:

Floor mounted door stop too far out from wall. Banged my toes on it twice. Put a bin over the stop to prevent recurrence.
