Infelizmente, a nossa experiência no GECKO Hotel Formentera foi muito abaixo das expectativas e totalmente incompatível com o preço cobrado.
O hotel apresenta sinais claros de má conservação, e os quartos são extremamente pequenos e pouco funcionais. No nosso quarto, por exemplo, a pia do banheiro ficava dentro de um armário no próprio quarto, uma solução bastante desconfortável.
O serviço e o atendimento também deixaram muito a desejar. O café da manhã é fraco, com pouca variedade e qualidade muito abaixo do que se espera de um hotel desta categoria.
A academia praticamente não pode ser considerada uma academia: pouquíssimos equipamentos e sem ar-condicionado. O próprio hall do hotel também não possui climatização adequada.
Outro ponto que considero absurdo é a questão da água. O hotel não disponibiliza água gratuitamente aos hóspedes e cobra valores muito elevados. Em uma estadia de seis dias, gastamos quase €300 somente com água.
O único aspecto realmente positivo é a localização, com a praia em frente ao hotel, que é muito bonita.
Fora isso, infelizmente, não tivemos uma experiência positiva. Pelo valor cobrado, esperávamos um padrão de instalações, conforto e serviço muito superior. Não voltaria e não recomendaria.
I liked the interior design and features, and the very laid-back atmosphere. Breakfast was good too and the outdoor eating area was pleasant.
All the dining and drinks options were very expensive. Service at breakfast was slow and a bit unprofessional. It felt like there were never enough staff serving but a lot of staff standing around.

Problemas con el aire acondicionado en la habitación no resueltos después de varios reclamos. WiFi muy lento. Imposible abrir archivos o ver videos.

The location of the hotel is perfect. We also loved the massages, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The food could be improved, especially considering the standard of the hotel. Also, the open-plan bathroom offers very little privacy, which may not be comfortable for everyone
