Heruntergekommenes, unsympathisches, völlig überteuertes Hotel,
Pros:

Lage am Wasser

Cons:

Total überteuert, 154,- für 1 Person und 20,- Euro für ein nicht besonderes Frühstücksbuffet! Ausstattung mäßig, alles sehr alt, v.a. baulich heruntergekommen. Der Pool sieht erst mal gut aus, ist aber klein und alt, und daher kein Vergnügen. Den Ausblick nach Fort-de-France fand ich ok, aber nicht den Preis wert. Das ganze Hotel wirkt total vernachlässigt, Personal distanziert, nicht besonders zuvorkommend. Der Strand ist winzig und eingequetscht zwischen Molen, bin kurz ins Wasser gesprungen, aber lohnt sich nicht. Es ist mir ein Rätsel, wie man sich dort den ganzen Tag hinlegen kann. Bar etc. am Wasser auf den 1. Blick ok, aber auch ungepflegt. Neben mir hörte ich Gäste entsetzt vom Hotel sprechen. Keinerlei nette Atmosphäre…habe es nur gewählt wg. Nähe zum Flughafen und Möglichkeit zu spätem Check-in, ist aber dafür viel zu teuer.

De belles vacances reposantes avec une vue magnifique
Pros:

Il faut d’abord savoir à quoi s’attendre : il s’agit d’un vieil hôtel construit il y a plus de 40 ans et qui n’a pas été rénové depuis. Quand on ajuste ses attentes, en sachant que cet hôtel est un peu moins cher que les autres sur la Pointe du bout, on peut profiter de ce resort pour ce qu’il est : un endroit magnifique avec une vue et un emplacement EXCEPTIONNELS. Se réveiller chaque matin au son de oiseaux et des vagues, profiter de la plage avec son eau turquoise et de la piscine, boire un piña colada au Coco Bar… Pour nous ç’a été de vraies vacances et je le recommanderais. L’hôtel est aussi à distance de marche de nombreux restaurants, du village créole, de l’Anse Mitan, etc., et il est facile de tout découvrir a pied. La chambre était vieille mais très propre et les lits confortables. Le petit déjeuner buffet était assez bon et diversifié.

Cons:

Chambres qui auraient avantage à être rénovées car très vieilles
Le Check in est tard, entre 16h et 18h, ce que je trouve aberrant lorsqu’on paye pour une chambre d’hôtel

Chambre non faite à notre entrée dans celle-ci
Trois escaliers pour descendre aux chambres sans accompagnement , pareil pour repartir mais en les montant et avec les bagages
Plage non privative accessible à tous les bateaux de croisière arrivant sur FORT DE FRANCE apportant des hordes de plagistes qui s'empilent autour de chaque transat!
Etat délabré de l'ensemble des équipements

Great location, good breakfast. Everything else is very old.

The location with private beach is spectacular. Breakfast is abundant and of a very good quality (apart from egg-station lady, who was very slow and constantly messing up orders)

Cons:

The hotel is so old, that it's screaming for renovation. If it weren't for the fact that we've only stayed 2 nights, I'd be desperate. Curtains in room were just torn into pieces yet hanging. Sunbeds and beach towels are absolutely disgusting. Beach towels' booth opens only at 9am, which is late.

La localisation, la conception de l’hôtel sont extraordinaires! Nous avons passé une nuit et cela correspondait à ce à quoi nous nous attendions!

Cons:

Un écrin magique, du personnel sympathique, tout y est présent mais désuet comme dit dans les commentaires.
Tellement dommage…il y aurait tellement de petites choses à faire pour améliorer ce bijou…
Je rêverais de discuter avec les directeur et propriétaire des lieux pour leur partager mon ressenti, des petites améliorations possibles, tellement simples et mieux comprendre l’histoire de ce lieu…

Pretty beach and palm trees hotel. A bit dated
Pros:

Hotel is on a really pretty beach. Multiple beaches in walking distance. Nice palm tree garden and bar on the water. Free towels and sun beds. Close to local ferry to Fort du France and to many shops and restaurants.
Gorgeous view from the room and coffee from Nespresso for mornings in room available. Clean bed sheets and towels.

Cons:

Hotel is overall on the dated side. Furniture is colonial ok - but cabinet doors do not close very well, room door was also crooked and you can see outside under it and on the sides. In short, hotel it’s not really properly upkept. Could be cleaned more, repainted, fixed the broken knobs and chipped corners etc.
Staff seemed bored most of the time, and not the most helpful. Restaurants on hotel grounds have low scores, breakfast had few options - we ended up eating at other places nearby.

Lovely small beach stay on the wonderful island of Martinique
Pros:

So wonderful to have a small beach right outside the door. Nice grounds, a bit separate from the tourist crowds. Staff were friendly and pleasant, happy to help. Very good breakfast buffet. Easy access to many restaurants. Onsite parking. We were very happy with our choice.

Cons:

The rooms could use a bit of a facelift, but they were still comfortable and everything worked well (though we needed some instruction for the hot water). We understand it is not always easy to invest in extensive renovations when the tourist season is so limited.

Petit déjeuner complet, lieu agréable avec une vue superbe sur la baie

Cons:

Les chambres (et le reste de l’hôtel) sont vétustes et mal entretenues. Ménage approximatif, mobilier vieillot, odeurs de reflux dans la salle de bain, VMC très bruyante, et musique extrêmement forte jusque tard dans la nuit, très mauvaise isolation phonique.
Le rapport qualité prix n’est clairement pas là.
