They upgraded us to a larger room for free because it was available, and we got shown to our room, which was also a lovely gesture. Great room, really comfy and clean. Food was great (evening & the next morning), but what I REALLY liked was that there was a 'pantry' just along from our room, radio playing quietly, well-stocked with lots of different teas, coffee capsules, a large bottle of proper milk in the fridge, a sliced cake to help oneself to. That whole pantry made it really feel like home from home - SO much nicer than the horrible coffee & UHT milk sachet one usually gets. I never write these reviews, but it was that good and YES I would definitely go back again. Lovely staff, lovely evening, great little place.
nothing
Staff and food brilliant
The bedroom was dreadful, one of the worst we've experienced. Absolutely tiny. Couldn't get around and the bathroom door banged into the bed. No where to put your things down and only hanging space was by the bed, again blocking movement. No drawer space.
Lovely boutique hotel restaurant
Cure decor
Location
Small room in need of some repairs to toilet seal and bathroom ceiling. Food service poor and main course over cooked pasta like stodge
Very cosy and very clean the staff we lovely and very friendly and helpful.
There was nathing not to like
Rooms lovely and comfortable. Loved the little kitchen drink area.
Food amazing had evening meal and breakfast.
Staff friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again
All amazing
Food served for evening meal was very good, although menu limited at the time of my arrival.
Breakfast wasn`t available until 9am on the morning of my departure, so a very limited continental option was made available.
If I had been aware that breakfast was served at 9am, I would probably have booked somewhere else.
It was absolutely fabulous, the level of attention of the team is incredible.
I loved how it only had 4 rooms, felt really comfortable
I struggled a bit charging my electric car as people were parking in the spot without using the chargers
What a fantastic well designed, exceptionally clean but cool place to stay. Found it by recommendation and I can definitely recommend it. It's a thoughtfully designed boutique style hotel. The fixtures and fittings are superb. The rooms are very well designed. There's even a tea/coffee area on the landing with a vast choice of drinks FOC with a slice of cake or two. Help yourself. Very chic. Much better than the usual kettle set up in your typical hotel room. The staff were all very welcoming and lovely. The bar area had lots of interesting touches including horse saddle stools. The food though was exceptional. As usual we ordered too much. Special mention for the burger. I've had lots of burgers and this one was the best I'd ever tasted. The menu isn't vast. But there's plenty of choice and means all the food is cooked fresh by a chef and it definitely shows. Breakfast the next day was exceptional. Quality locally sourced produce. Lots of options.
Nothing. Couldn't really find fault.
Excellent food in a very cosy dining room. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the specials offered.
Nothing comes to mind!
Lovely building and nice up market interior with good quality perks like free bottles of wash stuff and hand lotions to take home, white company bedding. Everything in room that’s needed. Restaurant food lovely! And so was breakfast. Would go back.
Bed could have been bigger and room slightly on small side but still nice
The accommodation was perfect! It’s very clear a lot of time has been invested in how to provide an exceptional experience to customers. The staff were very professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail and thoughtful added extras were just lovely. Our Breakfast was 10/10.
Nothing.
Breakfast really good. Location remote
It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang our clothes
Warm and friendly! Great food.
