Excellent experience in a lovely hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet grounds. Clean, tasteful, rooms with all amenities. Good security, located in a good neighbourhood with stores, some food trucks in the park, and restaurants nearby. Polite and responsive staff. On site restaurant serves a decent breakfast. I especially liked the turtle doves which hang out in the courtyard by the fountain and lovely bougainvillea bushes. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Cons:

Mexico is loud. They like it that way. I'd recommend turning the volume down in the restaurant stereo for breakfast and the owners yip yap dog barked quite a bit one afternoon. But these are minor nits to mention relative to the outstanding experience.

A beautifully run little hotel of exceptional value.
Pros:

A great hotel in a very nice neighborhood close to many amenities such as nice restaurants, bakeries and cafés. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. They also have a very nice little café on site that serves great breakfasts and lunches. We travelled with two other couples and they also thought that the hotel was great and that it was of exceptional value, especially after visiting San Miguel de Allende. It’s a 10 minute taxi or Uber ride to the city center. In our opinion the area that this hotel is situated is much nicer than the city center. We would definitely stay here again.

Está hermoso el hotel, es una construcción antigua restaurada con mucho detalle, increíblemente conservada y cuidada en cada detalle, la habitación es comodisima, las camas, almohadas, la decoración y funcionalidad de todo. Muy grata experiencia y el servicio....impecable.

Pros:

Is within city's diwntown area and it was really comfy. Even though they don't have their own parking, they have an agreement with a nearby public parking lot so you have a safe place to leave your vehicle.
