The rooms are as described,they are comfortable and clean.the host is very kind,he can arrange you the safari tours at the best rate ! Trust me ! You can enjoy the view on the field ,and have a dinner there ! Highly recommend ! Thank you very much..

Pros:

Very goood staff the family help us a lot and make our stay better that we expected. It’s a perfect place to relax after safari long day. In the city there is no too much places to go out for eat but they give us a menu with a lot of options and we could have very good dinner. Good place to see the sunset!

Pros:

I had an amazing experience at Village Mango Resort Thissamaharama. The staff was friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The room was clean, comfortable and the view is amazing. One of the highlights was the safari tour arranged by the hotel and it was perfectly organized. We saw many animals at Yala National Park. The safari driver also well experienced. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for relaxation and adventures safari tours..

The best place to go on safari tours in Thissamaharama.
Pros:

Village mango resort is one of the best hotels we spent in Sri Lanka. Staff, Food, View, Nature, all are superb. And the best part is the safari tour. The hotel arranged us a tour and we had an unforgettable experience with the safari driver. We saw all the animals in the Yala Safari. Leopards, Elephants, Bears etc. Then we went on a safari tour again. (Morning half and evening half) The driver has a great experience about the jungle and the roads. We went 3 kinds of safari in Sri Lanka and this was the best. I think this is the best place to go on a yala safari tour. Very good & appreciate it!! ❤️

The room its ok don't book the safari with them you will be disappointed
Pros:

The accommodation is okay just about clean.
There were just some cockroaches and ants around, but given the location, it's to be expected. The view is ok.

Cons:

Disappointing. This is not a resort. I do not recommend booking the safari with them for several reasons: the driver is unpleasant, it's very expensive for the quality and comfort of the vehicle. Also, the safari was supposed to be from 4:30 AM to 12:00 PM, but by 10:30 AM the driver was already heading back. When I pointed out that it wasn't time to leave yet, he just said 'okay' and wasted time driving in circles around the national park until 11:30, without seeing any animals - just fences. In short, don't book the safari with them, you'll be disappointed.

Amazing retreat surrounded by wildlife ..!!!!

Actually this is a wonderful resort. Situated in middle of a beautiful village. But close to the city also. Hotel's view is very beautiful. Hotel staff treated us very kindly & friendly. Sri lankan food of this hotel is very tasty. The yala safari also very nice wich they arranged.

Perfect spot for a Yala trip with excellent rooms..!!!

We had a lovely stay at village mango resort . The rooms are very spacious and super clean,with great facilities. The owner are amazing and super helpful ,we had a lovely dinner here and they arranged a wonderful safari in yala for us. Spent golden hour at Thissamaharama

Actually this hotel is very good... The environment around the hotel was very peaceful and very calm. We stayed there safely. The hotel' s staff is honest. They supported us. We saw a beautiful sunset at this hotel. This hotel's traditional sri lankan food was nice. We went on a safari ride and the hotel owner arranged for the safari tour. We saw many animals. Really adventures. And the hotel location is also very nice. The room and bathroom were very clean. In conclusion, I can give 10/10 rate for this hotel. Highly recommend!! 🙏😍

The paradise surrounded with mango trees 🍃

Woww! Village Mango Resort was really awesome! We stayed their very happily. The view was very nice. Staff was also very nice, Very kind and helpfull. Owner arranged us a Yala Safari Tour and it was really adventures. We saw leopards, crocodiles, elephants, bears, deers and more. Jeep driver also very kind. We got our first sri lankan rice and curry at this hotel and it was really tasty! The rooms were very clean. Bathrooms also very clean. This hotel is situated in a nice location. That experience was really awesome. This is the best hotel I booked in Sri lanka!! I can recommend this hotel to everyone who like to visit Thissamaharama. Thank you for yor hospitality! ❤️
