Very big room with comfertable bed and linen.
Fridge, aircon and good location.
The bathroom felt worn out.
We almost never saw any of the staff during our stay.
Beautiful, comfortable room with a great view. Helpful staff, mini bar, great location - walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and food market.
The noise from the party place nearby and an electric outlet that was very unsafe (water & smoke coming out - later fixed).
The property is very well located, it’s only a short walk from the Port and elevated, what provides the beautiful sea views. The room is one of the best ones we stayed in the Philippines so far, very spacious, aircon works super well, great size bathroom and beautiful varanda with stunning sunset views! The bed is SUPER comfy and big! Location is walk distance to bars, restaurants, dive shops and great beaches. Downstairs is a convenient Mexican/Nacho restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, our room was made everyday. Free water refills are also available what was wonderful! I would stay again for sure!
Nearby is a sports court, it can be very loud at night until around 10-11pm, that’s because they were having local basketball competitions (what actually looked pretty fun to watch!). Unsure if it’s on going all year.
I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.
The mexican restaurant on premises is outstanding. The hotel is close to the port. The beds were comfortable and the rooms have a peekaboo view of the water
The bathroom has a really strong smell that carries to the room. This is why they used a very strong air freshener at check in. The building is right next to the multipurpose hall and they are blasting music at night so it's hard to get any rest.
There was an official coastguard weather alert and boats were not operating due to this. This can happen anytime in the Philippines. We tried to cancel 5 days before but the hotel refused to help us with cancellation costs. They decided to take our money anyways even though they knew that we would not be able to reach the island. So unethical for such a new business!
Room is spacious and the bed is so comfy!
The shower water is bit salty and the pressure is not enough.
Great staff. They helped me to book a car from Cebu to Maya Port at a fair price, unlike other hotels.
The room is big, the beds are big and comfortable.
The water pressure is low, but it may be because Malapascua is a small island.
The room is not really soundproof.
Very comfy bed, nice staff
Todo impecable, limpio y cómodo. La cama extremadamente cómoda !
Todo excelente !!
Close proximity to dive centres
Balcony area not useable as seating units had collapsed and handrail was falling apart (as had been commented on by previous guests but not acted upon). Access to the hotel is via steep stairs which were unlit and dangerous once dark, and also the stairs to the rooms were smooth and extremely slippy when it rained. Room cleaning was poor.
Nice location and high luxury.
We had a wonderful stay at Crown Malapascua. Just a few minutes walk from the main port and perfectly situated near the markets, restaurants, and several dive shops it’s a highly convenient place to stay in Malapascua. It is also situated on a hill and after taking a few of the big steps up towards the reception area, it feels serene and completely separated from the hustle and bustle of the road below.
Hotel is also very communicative should anything arise. In our case, the owner discovered an event was relocated to the community center near the property and the noise would negatively impact our stay. She promptly let us know and offered options should we decide to seek accommodations elsewhere. We very much appreciated this, recognized it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and opted to stay. Fortunately we can sleep through anything and knowing it was coming made it less annoying.
Room is spacious, beds are comfy, AC works great, nice views of the island treetops from the balconies, and the staff are super helpful and nice. Would stay again!
Good value; staff friendly and helpful; close location to beaches and dive shops.
We were unfortunate to stay over the weekend - there was a loud basketball match until late on Friday and unbelievably loud disco/club event at the basketball court on Saturday night which went on until 01.30 Sunday morning. We understand this happens every weekend and so avoid if you have an early start for diving the next day…
