The hotel and surrounding areas corresponds to each other: you can name it Back to the USSR. Nothing shows that there is 21st Century on the calendar. Dark lobby, tiny elevator, poor breakfast, old furniture, scarce bathroom amenities,staff that don'd no how to smile. Even price is higher that for the same type hotel in Astana. So, average rating just for room service, who managed to clean room every day and change towels.
Awful experience all round. Tiny bed like a shelf, Very unpleasant staff. Bathroom smelly. Bed not made up on arrival and room not cleaned most days. Sheets and towels only changed once in 5 nights after someone who spoke Russian complained for me.
