A good base to visit Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Plas Newydd
Pros:

A very attractive old inn, on the waterfront of the Menai Strait and providing an outside area with seating on a grassy area to enjoy the view. I had a large twin room with a splendid view of the Strait.
The inn offered a well chosen evening menu and excellent food.

Cons:

Understandably, the inn does not provide breakfast.
The en-suite was very hot and there was no obvious means of controlling the room temperature.

Pros:

The location and view from the room .The room was spacious and up to date as was the shower room.

Cons:

Needed a light above the mirror as the fan in the bathroom was very noisy and came on everyone you put the light on
Could hear the music from the bar from morning until bedtime .

Great location, great food, what a gem!
Pros:

Fantastic location, overlooking the Menai Strait. Clean, comfortable modern room. Excellent food in pub bistro, would highly recommend eating here. No breakfast, but Morrisons cafe not far away. Staff friendly and very helpful. We both thought this place was a little gem and would stay here again.

Pros:

Fantastic scenery superb restaurant value for money high, great range of choice on both food & wine menu. Excellent welcoming & attentive staff. Wi-Fi was slightly problematic due to inclement weather but rectified by informing staff of poor coverage .

Cons:

Breakfast not available in situ but other locations available nearby.

Great friendly place to stay and eat
Pros:

Good clean accommodation. Very friendly staff. Great pub/bar and bistro/restaurant. Good value, great food, great location.

Cons:

Parking is a bit challenging especially when temporary traffic lights were put in front of my car overnight! Not the Inn's fault to be fair. Wifi codes were not available in room but the staff told me that was in process of being updated. Great location means it is very popular so be prepared to park fair way away.

Pros:

Good location for exploring the area. Bistro on the premises served great food at reasonable prices.

Cons:

Plumbing made running water sounds all the time - a bit disconcerting when trying to get sleep.
