Clean, comfortable and friendly
Pros:

Lovely property which was super clean, bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large with great facilities. The location is fine with a 7/11 in walking distance and about 20 minute walk from the town.

Great bicycle, great disappointment
Pros:

The best thing: the unexpected, great bike - a mountain bike, very well maintained.

The room: bright and, like the bathroom, stylishly furnished - both very clean.

Nice to be able to have breakfast on the balcony.

Cons:

The hotel employee speaks no English at all, communication was limited to "money" and "breakfast".

Atmosphere: missing hospitality.

Breakfast big disappointment: I had not pre-ordered all three breakfasts that were "served" to me :( Rice was cold, sweets wrapped in plastic. Maybe they could provide the hot water in a thermos so you don't have to go downstairs for every new cup of coffee.

Every time I was at the reception, there was nobody.

Quite noisy: The room is quite noisy and "paper thin" .

Every night the neighbor's dog barked quite aggressively (to my ears). Since the bathroom vent can't be closed, it was as if the dog was barking right in the bathroom.

And, as other guests have noted, the noise in the early morning (7am, for at least half an hour) coming from the loudspeakers directly from the street is quite disturbing. As this "call of the population" seems to be daily, it would be nice to be informed in advance.

If you have breakfast on the balcony, you can hear the noise from the nearby building site.

View: The three windows of the room look onto the walls of the neighboring house, not a meter away.

All in all: the additional costs compared to the ChomTique Hotel that belongs to the same guesthouse and is at the same address were not worth it.

Where do I start, checked in and they gave me a completely different room In a completely different building to what I had booked and what is pictured. Booked a king room with a balcony and received a twin room with rock hard beds and no balcony, there was blood on the toilet seat definitely was not cleaned after the last person. And to top it off I had an email in the morning saying I did not turn up to the hotel and trying to charge me for a no show fee. Tried to explain to the staff that I had been given the wrong room and asked why they had told booking.com that I hadn’t showed up. Nobody wanted to talk to me, nobody spoke English even when I tried google translate they just kept saying ok so don’t know if I’m guna get charged or not . Really let down by this place reviews seemed okay

Stylish hotel but bedbugs :/
Pros:

The rooms are beautiful and big. The beds are comfortable and all the furniture is chosen with a style. You have 5 different choices for breakfast, it is exclusively Asian style.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we have been bitten by bedbugs while staying there. You can hear the neighboor quite well through the walls, so we had noise from the outside.
