Ons verblijf hier is heel goed bevallen.
Pros:

Het hotel is gedateerd, had achterstallig onderhoud maar de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was goed. Bed was prima .Gezellig hotel omdat er ook een café is. Erg vriendelijk personeel. De locatie is perfect: vlakbij het station en het centrum.

Vergane glorie
Pros:

De ontvangst door het personeel was allerhartelijkst. We kwamen aan op Tweede Kerstdag en het personeel was super gastvrij en legde ons uit hoe alles werkte. Eerst betalen en toen voor naar onze kamer. Bedden prima en schoon, centrale locatie tegenover het station is perfect.

Nespresso koffieapparaat op de kamer met cupjes en theezakjes. Klein keukentje met koelkast voor wie dat nodig heeft. Geen ontbijt genomen

Cons:

De kamer. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald echt niet voldoende. De vloer veerde en kraakte onder onze voeten. De kast op onze kamer was scheef en wiebelde als je langs liep mee met de vloer. Bovenop de kast (op mijn ooghoogte) dikke laag stof en (gebruikte?) wattenstaafjes. Gordijnen hangen uit de rails en sluiten niet, in de winter niet zo'n probleem wellicht, maar in de zomer lig je dus vol in het licht.

Nachtlampje op nachtkastje tussen de bedden, maar wil je het in het stopcontact doen dan ligt één persoon op het snoer, het stopcontact zit halverwege het bed.

Vochtplekken op het systeemplafond, de radiator bij het derde bed hangt nog met één klem aan de muur en in de badkamer zitten overal schroefgaten van eerder gemonteerde spiegels of zeephouders. De lichtschakelaar zit vol met opgehoopt vuil en er zitten barsten in de tegels op de vloer.

Een keukentafeltje met twee verschillende stoeltjes die eruit zien alsof ze bij elkaar geraapt zijn bij het grofvuil en loszittend behang. Scheuren in de muren etcetera.

We herkennen ons helaas niet in de positieve ervaringen in andere recensies, behalve dan het personeel dat allervriendelijkst is. Kamer is vergane glorie en voldoet helaas niet aan de kwaliteit die de prijs doet vermoeden.

Conveniently-located hotel at a fair price
Pros:

For me, it was perfect that this hotel was just across from the train station, literally a 30-second walk.
There was a coffee maker, water kettle, and microwave, as well as a sink and basic plates, cups, cutlery. Like a little apartment.
There was TV with cable channels. Rooms are just above a café, where you can have breakfast after 10am. WiFi worked fine.
The price was more reasonable than other properties in town.

Cons:

The rooms could really do with a refresher. The radiator in the bedroom was hanging at an angle, there were some holes in the walls, the sofa cover wasn’t very aesthetic, and the bed mattresses were pretty soft. If the decor was spruced up, it could be charming.
