Stayed at The Boat Country Inn on our trip to the Highlands and honestly couldn’t fault it.
Super dog friendly which was brilliant for us, made such a difference being able to relax knowing our dog was properly welcome.
Room was clean, food was great and all the staff were lovely, but one staff member in particular really stood out, Tawl. We seen her at breakfast and lunchtime and she was amazing from start to finish. Always smiling, chatting away and so friendly with us and our dog. Just genuinely helpful and made the whole stay feel that bit more personal.
Would definitely go back!
The bed was a bit on the firm side, but that’s just personal preference.
Fijne atmosfeer, wel wat gedateerd maar verder oké

Advertised as 4 star - not an accurate description in my opinion.

I have been coming back for over 50 years on and off - never fails to be an amazing break. The staff were so helpful and always around to speak to. The food was utterly amazing. It was just the right mix of being friendly without being forced in any way. Bed was really comfy, a coffee in the entrance sitting area is a perfect way to just pause and watch life go by. Thank you
Two things - the shower was very poor and needs updating, it wasn't that hot and in order to be under the spray I had to stand tight against the controls.
The noise and vibrations from the boiler right outside my bedroom window meant I was not be able to sleep before 9pm and after 7am - the vibrations can be felt in the bed
The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and dinner was delicious as well.
Restaurant food was outstanding, location was lovely, room was spacious
Hotel only thing was the prices of beer and food but would definitely go bk
