Le restaurant est de qualité
La chambre était un peu étroite mais très bien
La tranquillité du lieu
Waiter was very nice. Food was good.
First room was very cold.
Breakfast choice was good and was served quickly.
Always enjoy our stay, very welcoming staff.
Relaxing stay in a great location. Breakfast always fab and great vegetarian breakfast
Lovely traditional hotel, with parking. Staff was extremely nice. Delicious breakfast with hot options included. Short but perfect stay!
Great situation, historic building, warm and comfy, lovely staff.
The staff were amazing and the food was excellent. Hotel had a nice feel and our dog friendly room was ideal with french doors giving access outside.
Lost hot water on one day so had to use another room to have a shower. That said - the staff dealt with it brilliantly!
found it slightly strange that although we could bring our dog in to the bar for our evening meal and the lounge (which was great) - we had to eat on our own in a different room for breakfast because of the dog(different location for breakfast but the tables were really spread out more so than at dinner?). Appreciate there was food laid out in buffet style but she just sits under the table so couldn't quite understand this?
Gorgeous place in quaint little village. Plenty of parking and well stocked bar. Comfortable rooms with all we needed. Lovely selection for breakfast too
That he didn't know how close it was to the little station used in traitors as we would have loved to book a train ride but we got there too late and no trains running the next day. Worth looking into
It's the fifth time i've stayed there, and it won't be the last, it's a fantastic place, meals are excellent Staff are lovely and very welcoming,
There is nothing at all wrong with the place
food on the resturant was lovely
No hot water for shower freezing cold
No Heating in room was minus 1 outside !
Noise from adjoining rooms was disgraceful
TV not working at all
Bed noise unacceptable
No coffee at breakfast and again freezing dining room
Poor welcome at reception from a very unhelpful young employee telling us to go to the golf club to eat !
It’s a classic Scottish Inn. Panelled Walls, Tartan, Fires, great food.
It’s exactly what we were looking for on our overnight winter stay, travelling north.
It’s brilliant, ever so slightly tired around the edges, and the food was exceptional.
Water pressure in shower wasn’t great (not complaining but needed to put something).
We and our dog were made to feel very welcome. We’d booked a Garden Room and that was perfect.
Nothing.
Excellent choice of breakfasts.
Dog friendly.
Plenty of walks and amenities nearby.
Nothing to add
Great staff and service. Really large penthouse rooms were nice and would have been great to relax for a few days with views of the mountains, we were unfortunately tired and just in a nights pitstop. Good breakfast and very nice staff for service as well.
No lifts, stairs all the way.
It’s a little far from any shops or town centres, which isn’t fair to complain about but make sure you have everything you need before you get there.
Lovely looking hotel in a beautiful village
All good
