Location suits us and we love room 212 overlooking the
train station and watching the steam train come and go,the staff are always lovely and welcoming, dinner is always good too
I have felt for years there could be some improvement with breakfast although this time I did think it had improved, the coffee is never nice and even new coffee machine hasn’t helped , I made coffee in the room and brought it down, problem solved, the menu has great variety
La gentillesse du personnel et la propreté
Les équipements sont vétustes (lit en pente sur le côté, chasse d’eau qui ne marche pas bien…)
Perfect location
Room a little cramped but clean and we were not in the room much
Staff lovely manager delightful and very cooperative very nice 👍
The door is needing to be looked at as there was a draft into the room. Manager informed and she said that it will be looked at.
We have stayed several times and love the location . Food great.
Liked everything
Food was good but 10% services charge not good.
Mould in the shower and on the windows cobwebs on the ceiling. More attention to cleaning needed. 10% service charge on food so only had one meal other than breakfast which was already paid for.
Nice roomy hotel , felt cosy though . Staff were super helpful and friendly , we missed dinner as we arrived late but breakfast was pretty organised and tasty . It was a quick stop for us but I would have stayed longer .
Parking was a bit of a nightmare , the dash and case window in our room rattled all night and we had to stuff it with paper to stop it banging (rm 109) jam at breakfast is from England …
Very friendly staff and a great place to stay with a dog.
Location and the food was incredible
Was windy and the sash windows rattled.
Water pressure needs looking at.
Breakfast was amazing and a perfect location
Bigger rooms
Stayed at The Boat Country Inn on our trip to the Highlands and honestly couldn’t fault it.
Super dog friendly which was brilliant for us, made such a difference being able to relax knowing our dog was properly welcome.
Room was clean, food was great and all the staff were lovely, but one staff member in particular really stood out, Tawl. We seen her at breakfast and lunchtime and she was amazing from start to finish. Always smiling, chatting away and so friendly with us and our dog. Just genuinely helpful and made the whole stay feel that bit more personal.
Would definitely go back!
The bed was a bit on the firm side, but that’s just personal preference.
Fijne atmosfeer, wel wat gedateerd maar verder oké
