Relaxing. Great location - walk to playa hermosa. Super clean. Rustic-chic vibe.
Great location, convenient layout of unit, and clean.
Only one bedroom (queen bed) has AC and is completely sealed from the outdoors. The common areas and second bedroom (king+single) are open to the outdoors through a large window with a mosquito net on top of the kitchen and common areas. As a consequence, the temperature inside is the same as outside (25-30C), a few small mosquitos make their way in, and noises from outside are not insulated. This was an issue while sleeping and given that there is a construction site 20m away operating 7AM-5PM.
The property was a self contained little yet spacious villa with a lovely small pool, hammock, chill area.
The lock to our villa was broken. However, it is safe and it did not cause an issue. There is security on premises.

The Place is nice, and very close to a good restaurant, a supermarket and to the beach
You can eat outside close to the pool
The location is fairly quite and the atmosphere is enjoyable
The quality of the material used to build the infrastructure is quite poor. The bathroom is moldy, the material used is not ideal for humid places. Part of the kitchen is also moldy and the utensils were not properly cleaned.
It’s a pity because in general the infrastructure could be very nice if it was better maintained
Clean close to things,
Water pressure real low, hot water was only a little warm, toilet kept having issues, ran out of gas for cooking, some pots were broken

The proximity of the kitchens of the property next door
The place is relatively quiet as there is some construction going on around. Friendly staff. The beach nearby was really nice. Lots of monkeys around. Little supermarket and a couple of restaurants just up the road.
Not the safest building for young kids or if you are accident prone (stairs without handrail, no proper steps to access the pool, slippery hard floors). They have mosquito nets but you have to ask for them as they are not already in the room and you will definitely need one if sleeping upstairs so ask for them on arrival. Beds are a bit hard and pillows a bit uncomfortable. The roads are full of potholes.
Air Conditioning only in downstairs bedroom (with queen bed). Remainder of villa open to outside.
Very pretty surroundings. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beach was 5 minutes away. I liked my air conditioned bedroom.
The noise from next door.
The casa at Villas Argan was really excellent. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and good value for the area.
