Pros:

Great shower, great breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff (owners I assume?).
Comfortable bed

Cons:

Pillows were too soft for my personal preference. Could have done with a few medium - firm ones to choose between.

Excellent room, shower was exceptional lots of pressure!! staff were very helpful and very polite.
Pros:

It was a proper full English breakfast with plenty of variety if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. Location worked for me.

Just off the Heads of the valley road with parking and great breakfast.
Pros:

Flexibility over breakfast timing and content. Very friendly and helpful staff . Warm fire in the public bar.

Cons:

An extra knife at breakfast for the toast.

Sublime. I felt well taken care of.
Pros:

Clean, quiet, WARM (important to me) room. Plenty of towels, toiletries and if you need anything Claire or Neil will get it for you. The bar is more like a basement rec room in someone's home. Nice, low key locals. Hot fire and cold cider. Slept well for 3 nights. Claire will make anything you like for breakfast. She had GF bread for my toast, porridge, yogurt, fresh pears and all the traditional Welsh brekkie standards. You can easily stay here if you aren't driving - mind you the buses only run till 7:45 pm from city center. My final morning I took a cab to the bus station - 6 pounds. Claire made the arrangements. Being carless, Neil made a great suggestion for my walk - take the Brecon Mt puffer train to the top of Torpantau and start walking from there. I did 8 miles to Talybont-on-Usk, bus back to Merthyl. Great day during a great stay.

Cons:

Nothing. Welsh busses often run late but they do show up.

Pros:

Breakfast was very filling lovely food. Evening meal in the pub was out standing. Check in was at 4:00 but Claire messaged me at 12:00 to say the room was ready for Check in. Claire & Neil are such a lovely couple,so helpful & friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. I definitely will stay here again. Room was lovely cosy & clean.

Great value for money! Would recommend!
Pros:

Great breakfast. Claire was a fantastic host. Clean, comfortable room. We had everything we needed, would certainly stay again.

Cons:

Shower grout was slightly mouldy. But it honestly wasn't a problem. The shower itself was great; good pressure! Everything else was super clean.
