Convenient location, just a few steps from the entrance yo the National Park. Clean rooms, comfortable bed
Check in and payment. The listing was in US $, so was the booking. When I tried to pay at check in time with my credit card they refused to do the transaction in US $ claiming the machine was broken or something and only could do it in Costa Rican colones. The catch: they used an abusive exchange rate, which I could not negotiate. I believe they do this because bank commissions tend to be higher in US$ and by charging a lower exchange rate they get some money back to pay for the bank commission in colones. It was not a good experience, feeling that they take advantage of the customers because you are already there, after a long trip and don't have too many options.
I'd say check with them first if they have "fixed" the broken machine before booking and avoid a nasty surprise.
Great value option for Manuel Antonio (where other hotels seemed to be pretty expensive) and location can't be beaten as it is right next to the national park entrance. Pool was a lovely bonus and the beach is a short walk away. Staff speak limited English but all v helpful and no problems with communication. We enjoyed the board games too and kitchen was a great option for easy meals when tired of eating out.
It did feel a bit like a borderline hostel (e.g. you clear away your own plates from breakfast) but still v good value. The area right by the hotel is very quiet at night (just a couple of restaurants open), which didn't bother us as we were asleep early but might if you wanted some nightlife.

El parking estaba lleno y tuvimos que aparcar fuera pero pudimos aparcar en frente del alojamiento.

Aunque el personal es super amable, se nota que tienen una jefa con normas muy estrictas e inflexibles que quiere maximizar el beneficio y no ayudar al cliente.
Por ejemplo, el checkin es hasta las 11h, si te alargas 10 min tienes que pagar 35$ por persona. No te guardan las maletas.
El parking es hasta las 12h, sin opción a dejarlo más.
Sabiendo que hay el parque al lado y con las dificultades de maletas y parking de los usuarios, no costaría nada hacer los checkouts más razonables y flexibles y poder visitar el parque bien, y no con sobrecostes y normas estrictas.
Una pena la verdad, porque el sitio está bien. Pero por precios similares o mejores, hay hoteles con mejores políticas por la zona.
Por cierto, la comunicación previa con el hotel es lamentable, estuvimos llamando previamente para ahorrarnos estas cosas y solo respondían por whatsapp y muy mal.
This was a fabulous place to stay, just a couple of minutes walk from the Manuel Antonio NP entrance. It couldn't have been more convenient. The soda next door (Enchante?) is also highly recommended for delicious well-priced meals.

Heerlijk hotel op een centrale locatie, waardoor alles makkelijk te bereiken is. De accommodatie is prachtig en het ontbijt was prima. Het zwembad is klein, maar juist heel fijn om even af te koelen. Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven!
We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad en hebben geen negatieve punten.
